Karla Estrada is over the moon as she anticipates the arrival of a baby in her family.
This excitement follows the joyous news of her son, singer Jose Carlito "JC" Padilla, getting married.
Now, Karla is looking forward to embracing the heartwarming real-life role of a grandmother.

KARLA'S SON GETS MARRIED
JC and his non-showbiz partner Nathalia Valdivia tied the knot in an intimate civil ceremony officiated by Mayor Francis Zamora at the San Juan City Hall.
There, of course, to witness the special occasion was Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla, the groom's older brother.
Touching moments from the ceremony were captured and published by Karla on her social media feed on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
Nathalia radiated elegance in a chiffon tube gown, carrying a delicate bouquet, while JC looked dashing in a traditional Barong Tagalog.
In an Instagram post, Karla expressed her joy and well-wishes for the couple, writing, "May the years ahead be filled with lasting joy, CONGRATULATIONS to a couple [who is a] match made in heaven! [red heart emojis]
"I love you both Nathalia & Carlito"
The celebration that followed their wedding was held at the Gallery MiraNila by Blue Leaf in Quezon City.
Karla conveyed more good wishes for Mr. and Mrs. Padilla in a subsequent post: "May you two never stop loving each other [red heart emoji]"

Embracing her role as "Mamita"
A particularly moving moment during the wedding reception was the couple's announcement of their baby's gender, a boy.
At which point Nathalia changed her wedding gown into a free-flowing silk dress that accentuated her baby bump.
Karla, bursting with excitement, announced, "ITS A BOY!!! Wooooooohoooo!!! Blessing after Blessing Thank you Father GOD Congratulations Nath & Jc
"You can call me mamita [butterfly emoji] We love you !!!"
JC and Nathalia announced their engagement on June 29, 2024, with a set of cozy, laid-back prenup photos.
Apart from Daniel and JC, Karla is also a mom to two daughters: Magui Ford and Carmella Ford.
