Grandparenting is a season that many mothers dream of reaching, and for Jinkee Pacquiao, that chapter seems to be unfolding sooner than expected.
On October 14, 2025, the wife of boxing legend and former senator Manny Pacquiao shared a sentimental Instagram carousel featuring old photos of her and her firstborn, Emmanuel “Jimuel” Pacquiao Jr.
The post, both tender and tear-jerking, celebrated motherhood while hinting at a new role that awaits her.
“The day I became your mother, my world changed instantly,” Jinkee wrote.
“It marked the start of a new version of myself—one that is tender, tired, and transformed.
“Time flies so fast na ikaw ang karga-karga ko noon, sa susunod na buwan ang apo ko naman ang kakargahin ko.
“Grabe, kapaspas gyud sa panahon, sunod bulan naa na koy apo.
“So grateful to God. He is indeed good all the time!”
The caption—mixing English, Tagalog, and Bisaya—overflowed with gratitude and awe at the passage of time.

Jinkee's posts drew speculations
Clues about this new season for the Pacquiao matriarch have been sprinkled for a period of time on Jinkee's Instagram feed.
Rumors about Jimuel’s engagement and soon-to-be fatherhood began circulating months earlier, after a July 2025 Instagram post by Jinkee captured what appeared to be a family-to-family dinner in Los Angeles.
The Pacquiaos were seen visiting the home of Jimuel’s rumored girlfriend, sparking speculation among fans that the gathering was no ordinary meal.
“Tonight deserves something special. Family dinner time,” Jinkee wrote at the time. “Cherishing family moments. #loveandlaughter #Godisgood.”

The post showed Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao with their sons Jimuel and Israel, while a woman believed to be Jimuel’s partner sat beside him.
Although Jinkee purposely did not tag or identify the young woman, netizens quickly speculated that the gathering might have been a formal pamamanhikan.
In Filipino tradition, pamamanhikan refers to the customary visit of the man’s family to the woman’s home to ask for her parents’ blessing before marriage.
