Loisa Andalio humbly responds to criticisms following her recent viral interview about solo traveling.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) published a report on May 18, 2024, detailing Loisa's perspective about going on trips alone.

For her, being by yourself is a missed opportunity to experience more of what the place has to offer: "Siyempre mas na-a-appreciate natin yung napupuntahan natin pag mahal natin yung kasama natin.
"Basta ini-enjoy lang naman yung mga moments na magkakasama kami. Gumaganda rin yung view dahil sa kasama natin."
The 25-year-old actress added, "Minsan kasi, ang ano lang, hindi ko maintindihan yung mga tao na nagso-solo travel— parang ang lungkot.
"Kasi, sino yung kabatuhan mo na 'ang ganda ng view?'"
Her concluding remark was: "Grabe yung pinagdadaanan talaga siguro nila para gusto nilang magiging solo na lang."
Upon publishing, PEP.ph's exclusive interview quickly made the rounds on social media, leaving some netizens feeling affronted by Loisa's comments.

Loisa means no offense
In a report by ABS-CBN on May 29, 2024, Loisa clarified her previous statements, highlighting her sole preference as the basis for her opinion.
"Medyo bitin talaga yung interview na yun," she explained.
"Ang opinyon ko dun parang for me, kung ako mag-so-solo travel, grabe siguro yung pinagdadaanan ko para umabot ako sa mag-solo na lang."
A big factor to consider is how her personality makes her inclined to enjoy life's pleasures with her loved ones, including her boyfriend Ronnie Alonte.
"Kasi ako, yung personality ko, gusto ko kasama si Ronnie or yung friends or yung family."
Finally, she issued an apology to anyone who might have been offended by her point of view: "Hindi ko nilalahat, sa akin lang yun.
"Kung na-misinterpret ng iba, sorry, opinion ko yun. May opinion din sila, nirerespeto ko din."
PASSION FOR ROAD TRIPS
Meanwhile, Loisa revealed in the same interview with PEP.ph how she and Ronnie are big on traveling by land.
She shared, "Mahilig ako sa mga road trip talaga. Road trip namin, siguro yung mga pag nag-aano kami, camping, mga ganyan.
"Noong pumunta tayo sa Tanay, may ganyang area. Kasi may nasakyan kami, buggy cars talaga."
Ronnie threw in, "May nadaanan kaming putik talaga."
Loisa continued, "Tsaka ano, yung nag-camping tayo, papunta yung Tanay naman. Tanay, Antipolo din.
"Kasi sa Tanay yung mga maraming camping site na mga road trip."
DISCOVERIES ON THE ROAD
As a wanderlust-driven couple, Loisa and Ronnie affirmed that their travels, both abroad and locally, have allowed them to discover different sides of each other.
"Siguro, ano lang, na-discover ko na mainipin lang siya sa daan," Loisa said.
"Ayaw niya yung mahahabang, yung mga four hours na biyahe talaga.
"Ayun yung na-discover ko sa kanya, pero masaya naman siya kasama," she assured with a laugh.
"Di naman kami nawawala kasi may Waze naman, e. Di pa naman kami nawawala."
She joked, "At saka pag nawawala kami, babaliktarin lang daw yung damit."
Keeping at her playful teasing, she said, "Ang na-discover ko sa kanya, pangit mag-picture din."
For Ronnie's part, he found himself drawn to Loisa's enthusiasm whenever she marveled at the scenery.
"Nakita ko sa kanya yung grabe siya ma in-love sa mga paligid, lalo na pag umaalis kami sa mga malalayong lugar."
He recalled: "Kagaya nung nag-camping kami, grabe niya ma-appreciate yung nature, yung ambiance ng lugar.
"Ako kasi, pag minsan, kapag lalo na long drive, tamad na tamad na ko, e. Hindi ko na makita."
Loisa quipped, teasingly: "Oo, nag se-cellphone lang siya minsan tapos sabihin ko, ‘Beh, ang ganda, di ba?’"
Relating how he would miss out on the scenery, she added, "Wala na, tapos na, lumagpas na tayo. Hindi mo na makita kung saan yung maganda."
Ronnie ended with a heart-fluttering remark: "So ganun, grabe siya. Ako medyo tamad lang talaga. Pero, basta siya, kaya ko."
