PEP EXCLUSIVE: Illac Diaz gives update on legal battle with Angelica Jones; confirms breakup with Julia Clarete

"Unfortunately, she used lies and false stories of a love triangle, and filing oral defamation to try to convince us to just abandon our need for her to return or liquidate the funds," says MyShelter Foundation, Inc.’s Illac Diaz about Angelica Jones.

After two months, may mga bagong pangyayari sa buhay ni Illac Diaz kaugnay ng kontrobersiyang kinasangkutan niya bilang celebrity at kilalang pilantropo, at tagapamahala ng MyShelter Foundation, Inc.

Ang huling pakikipag-communicate ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa dating aktor at public figure, at the height of his feud with actress-politician and Laguna Board Member Angelica Jones, ay may kinalaman sa mga naging usapin nila ni Angelica over disbursement of funds.

(CLICK HERE to read related story.)

I’m waiting for the copy of my checks that I gave to her office to prove that all the money was given to her and she should disburse the funds."

"She’s been attacking me with slander...which somehow confuse the real, bigger issues."

(CLICK HERE to read related story.)

"Sharmaine was just a friend among a group of friends.

"I am just in a stage of healing and have been connecting with old friends as a way to get over an unfortunate breakup.

"I have been having lunch and meeting up with people that can just bring me company," sabi ni Illac, to justify his and Sharmaine’s recent togetherness as reported, "and just to talk, as I got used to someone always being around me."

"I don’t have her number anymore unfortunately but maybe through other means, like EB..."

ISSUE WITH ANGELICA. Meanwhile, "the issue with Angelica has always been about lack of liquidation and transparency," sabi ni Illac.

"Up to now, no single receipt or labor sign sheet has been turned over despite her announcement on air and the continued demand letters our lawyers have sent.

"There has been no choice but to file a case with the NBI [National Bureau of Investigation]," saad ni Illac.

ORAL DEFAMATION AND OTHER CHARGES. Illac also mentioned, in his text message to PEP about the case filed by Angelica against him.

"Unfortunately, she used lies and false stories of a love triangle, and filing oral defamation to try to convince us to just abandon our need for her to return or liquidate the funds.

"Her mother [Mrs. Beth Jones] threatened me that she would destroy my name and my foundation, plus disallow me from finishing [our project] if I did not accept the billings for one classroom made of plastic and mud, of more than a million in materials, 566,000 in labor, 50,000++ in gasoline, 67,000 in representation, et cetera.

"And she [Mrs. Jones] went out full force when I could not respond.

"Julia suffered a lot when I was abroad," huling pahayag ni Illac, na nangangailangan pa rin ng paglilinaw.
