Sabi pa ni Amalia, “Bobby spent one week with Liezl in California. Wala man lang mention sa aming dalawa.”

IRREPLACEABLE.
Saad ng 74-year-old actress, “Liezl is irreplaceable in my life. She is my only child.
“Everyone else there now can replace her.
“Albert can get married again. I’m not saying no, but he can replace Liezl as a wife.
“The children, when they eventually get married, they will find a mother-in-law, and that will be a replacement for Liezl.
“Ako, I can never replace my daughter.
“I’m the only one among all of them who has the biggest loss, the greatest loss.”
“I WAS ALWAYS THERE.”
Ayon kay Amalia, “All this time, they shut me off from her life because they wanted sila-sila.
“Ako, I was just in the sidelines, just watching that Liezl is alright.
“Andito ako sa sideline because I know she’s married and that is what her husband requires her na sila-sila lang.
“So, for the longest time, I was never part of their life, but I was always there for her.”
“It is in the heart and Liezl knows that. And I was there.
“The last time I talked to her, she was all alone in her bedroom and she was crying.
“She was alone, for heaven’s sake!
“Her children… Alyssa was in school, Albert was taping. She was left alone and I was there for her.
“And this host of whatever place this is failed to mention the most important person in her life—si Bobby, her father, and me.”
Ulit pa niya, “Because I can never replace Liezl.
“Whatever happens, when these children get married, they will move on. They’ll have their own family to take care.
“Liezl loved her children but I loved her as much as she loves her children.”
“I was hoping na mauuna ako.
“I was thinking I will not experience this day, which is the worst day of my life.
“I feel like ako na ang dapat mamatay,” umiiyak na sabi ni Amalia.
“I DID NOT INTRUDE.”
“I want to let the whole public know na even though we are not mentioned, because puro asawa niya, puro lahat, we are here and we are the most important people…
“I raised my daughter by myself.
“And when she was 18, she had her husband, and I stepped back from her life because I wanted to give her a chance to be happy na.
“Kasi ang ini-expect ng tao na I will interfere, I will intrude.
“No, I did not intrude, ‘di ba?
“But now, on her last days, I wanted to be part again of that life.”
“Ako, where was I? Nowhere.
“Nobody talked to me. Nobody gave me the schedule.
“Every time people will ask me, 'I don’t know. I’m just a guest.'
“Ganun ang ginawa nila sa akin. And I want the public to know this once and for all.”
Sabi niya sa huli, “This will be my final statement.”
“I DID NOT ABANDON HER.”
Sabi niya sa aktor na pamangkin, "I have to let out of my system, Aga. Aga, I love you… you’re the only one who can understand me."
Dagdag pa ni Amalia, “I love Liezl. I did not abandon her… I did not abandon her!”
Sabi ng aktres sa isang niyang kapatid: “Alam mo naman, I was a good mother to her. You know that.
“But now kinalimutan na nila lahat ‘yon. It’s about time…
“Biro mo, ayaw akong pagsalitain, itinago agad ang microphone.
“Mga walanghiya ‘yon, bastos! Bastos ang mga hosts dito!
“I want the public to know that…”
Sa huli, sabi ni Amalia tungkol sa kanyang pagsasalita sa media: “I did the right thing…”
Siya ay 47 years old.
