Alden Richards explains why "God Gave Me You" holds special meaning for him

Alden Richards on the meaning behind the song "God Gave Me You" and why it touches him deeply: “When I recorded that song in my album, I was crying while recording it. I don’t know why. So talagang yung song na iyon means a lot to me whenever I sing that song. If you listen to the song, the lyrics, ang ganda ng song to dedicate to someone, to somebody. And that was the emotion I was feeling that time.”

Gaganapin ang show sa New Pier Hall, Tokyo, ngayong hapon, October 11.

Saad niya, “That song, 'God Gave Me You,' is very emotional.

“Yung song na yun means a lot to me, kagaya ng nasabi ko sa previous interviews ko.

“I was overwhelmed with emotions when I was singing that song.

“Marami ngang nagsasabi na acting daw yun.

“Well, it’s the opinion of others and I have to honor them.

“But in my heart, I know that it was true emotions kasi na-realize ko yung mga dumarating na blessings.

"And naisip ko yung family ko, yung supporters, and most especially yung mom ko na naaalala ko that time.

Sagot ng Pambasang Bae, “Well, palagi kong sinasabi sa kanya ‘to.
