Nagsalita na si James Reid sa akusasyong isa siyang ‘wild party boy’ at hindi raw siya nababagay sa girlfriend na si Nadine Lustre.
Sa panayam sa kanya ni Boy Abunda sa Tonight With Boy Abunda kagabi, April 26, sinabi ng This Time star na hindi dapat magalit ang mga tao sa kanya dahil sa pagnanais niyang magkaroon ng isang magandang pangyayari sa kanyang buhay.
Saad ng 22-year-old Kapamilya actor, “Well, I do love to party and I’ve had a long party streak.
“I get where the bad boy thing comes from, but maybe Nadine is just what I need.
"Can you hate me for wanting to have something, you know, that’s good?”
Nauna nang dinepensahan ni Nadine si James tungkol sa playboy tag nito sa panayam din ni Boy sa Kapamilya actress nitong nakaraang linggo.

BASHERS. Kasunod na tanong ni Boy kay James: “Are you friends with your exes?”
Tugon ni James, “Well, how will I say this… well, we’re okay.
“I mean, there’s no bad blood or anything. We’re civil.
“But I can’t say that I hang out with them or anything.”
Tinukoy naman ng TV host sa susunod nitong tanong ang tungkol sa ex-girlfriend ni James na si Ericka Villongco, kung saan humingi ito ng tulong kay Nadine upang itigil na ng JaDine fans ang pamba-bash sa kanya.
Sagot ni James, “Actually, with that incident, she actually approached Nadine, yes, because they still talk.
“So she was asking for help from Nadine.
“Nadine, she did [help her]. She tweeted to the fans.
"She appealed to the bashers to stop the hate and stop bashing.”
Tungkol naman sa bashers na patuloy pa ring nagdududa sa kanya para kay Nadine, sabi ng aktor, “For me, there’s not much you can do about it.
"Me, when it comes to bashers, I don’t even give a second thought to it. It doesn’t really get to me.
“I mean, I really can’t please everyone.”
Sa huli, sinabi ni James na, “Nothing I say can be the ‘tastiest peach in the world.’ There will be someone who hates peaches.”
