According to the rehab facility insider who chose not to be identified, "It was Jiro who requested to go home despite Miss Ai-Ai's decision na ipagpatuloy niya ang pananatili sa rehabilitation center. Mas kampante si Miss Ai-Ai na nasa center si Jiro for his full recovery, but it was Jiro's decision to leave.

“As of this time, and as far as we are concerned, si Miss Ai-Ai delas Alas pa rin ang tumatayo na petitioner ni Jiro, and she takes care of all of his needs and regularly communicates with us on his condition.

“It was Jiro who requested to go home despite Miss Ai-Ai’s decision na ipagpatuloy niya ang pananatili sa rehabilitation center.

“Mas kampante si Miss Ai-Ai na nasa center si Jiro for his full recovery, but it was Jiro’s decision to leave.

“The center naman cannot hold him kahit gusto ni Miss Ai-Ai kasi nga of legal age na siya.

“Ai-Ai is not a legal petitioner din, kasi she is not an immediate relative, and Jiro is not covered with a court order,” pahayag ng rehabilitation center official na nakiusap na huwag nang banggitin ang pangalan niya.

PSYCHIATRIST'S OPINION.

“A few years back, Ai-Ai referred Jiro Manio to me for psychiatric management.

“Jiro was seen at the airport looking unusual and poorly groomed looking for his lola.

“Ai-Ai came to the rescue and gave Jiro a second chance to life.

“But due to psychosocial stressors and the chronicity of his psychiatric condition, he had a relapse wherein he was admitted again and handled by another facility.

“Based on my medical opinion, he still needs continued psychiatric treatment and good social support.

“I believed that Ai-Ai is Jiro’s 'nanay' who never cease to give him support.

“There is hope, though recovery is influenced by a lot of factors.

“Let us move forward and help,” ang sabi ni Dra. Arcena.
