Teresita Ssen Marquez talked about the possibility of her joining Bb. Pilipinas 2019 in an impromptu Instagram Live session early today, Sunday, January 13.
The former Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder said, "Okay, sa mga nagme-message sa akin about Bb. Pilipinas, Miss Universe, [Miss] Supranational, and sa lahat ng ibang pageants, thank you so much.
"Nakakataba ng puso na you still support me and pinupush niyo akong sumali kasi naniniwala kayo and all and sobrang thank you.
"Pero to be honest, I'm really not sure yet.
"Marami pa kasi ako kailangan gawin this year.
"Maraming pumapasok na projects, maraming opportunities na dumarating, and I'm really not sure what to do yet.
"Unahin ko muna kung anong kailangan unahin and let's kung ano ba talaga ang mangyayari.
"I'm happy with my crown. I'm happy sa kung anong na panalunan ko."
The GMA-7 actress will be turning 27 this year, and she openly acknowledged the age limit of international pageants.
Teresita continued, "I can still join, I think, if ever hindi ako sumali [this year]…
"I think tumaas na yung age bracket ng Miss Universe to 28 if I'm not mistaken? Supranational is also 28, so I think puwede pa."
The daughter of Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno first joined Bb. Pilipinas in 2015, but only finished in the Top 15.
She later joined Miss World Philippines in 2017 and became the first titleholder of Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas.
Teresita then became the first Filipina to win the Reina Hispanoamericana crown.
She won the crown on November 4, 2017 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia (Sunday, November 5, Manila Time).
