Ginanap ang Met Gala 2024 sa pamosong The Metropolitan Museum of Art, sa New York City, nitong Lunes ng gabi, May 6, 2024 (Martes ng umaga, May 7, 2024, sa Pilipinas).
Ang theme ngayong taon ay "Garden of Time."

Gumawa ng kasaysayan ang Stray Kids bilang kauna-unahang K-pop group na naimbitahang um-attend sa tinaguriang "fashion's biggest night."
Noong mga nakaraang taon ay may K-pop stars nang dumalo sa Met Gala—gaya nina Psy, Rain, CL ng 2NEI, Jennie at Rosé ng BLACKPINK, Lay ng EXO, Jackson Wang, at Johnny ng NCT—ngunit ito ang unang pagkakataon na lahat ng miyembro ng isang K-pop group ay naimbitahan.

PHOTOGRAPHERS' COMMENTS ABOUT STRAY KIDS
Habang rumarampa sa steps ng The Metropolitan Museum of Art, tumigil ang Stray Kids sa isang bahagi para mag-pose at makunan ng mga nag-aabang na photographers.
Sa kumalat na videos sa social media, maririnig ang ilang photographers na tinatawag ang atensiyon ng Stray Kids members para humarap sa kanila at mag-pose.
Ngunit nakaagaw-atensiyon ang maririnig na usapan ng photographers na para sa ilang netizens ay "inconsiderate" at "disrespectful" sa K-pop group.
Ganito ang naging takbo ng kanilang usapan, base sa kumakalat na video:
Photographer 1: "I've never seen so many unemotional faces in my life."
Photographer 2: "They're like robots."
Photographer 1: "Now, let's do it with feelings."
Photographer 2: "They're gonna start performing, right?"

NETIZENS REACT
Karamihan ng mga nakapanood ng video clips, partikular na ang Stays (tawag sa Stray Kids fans), ang nagpahayag ng disgusto sa inasal ng photographers.
Sabi ng isa (published as is), "Can anybody spread this?? Are paparazzi always this rude...literally after this he said I bet they're gonna start performing hello??"
Ayon naman sa isa pa, "They need to be fired because Stray Kids are at a Met Gala, not in a Knowing Bros appearance to be 'emotional'"
Himutok ng isa, "I really hate those people, how dare they to be so disrespectful to them? They should apologize!! two of them even understand perfectly english as far as I know, it’s not fair!"
Komento naman ng isa, "The comments the paparazzi are making?? That's DISPERPECTFUL!"
Sabi pa ng isa, "I can't be the only one that thinks that the photographers from the met gala where so rude to skz, like someone needs to humble them."
Tinawag naman ng isang netizen na "racism" ang inasal ng photographers.
Aniya, "It's so racist it's crazy and they would do it to every other Kpop Band also... I think it's high time the international Kpop community shows the how many people stand united against racism.... I feel sad for the guys honestly..."
