Hallyu star Song Joong Ki and his wife, former British actress Katy Louise Saunders, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their second child.
The couple, who welcomed their first son last year, shared the exciting news with their close friends and family.
This was confirmed by the South Korean actor’s agency HighZium Studio earlier today, July 8, 2024, with a brief official statement: "Actor Song Joong Ki is becoming a father of two."
According to a recent report by News1, Katy is currently focusing on her prenatal care as she prepares for the birth of their family's newest member.
Having spent time in Italy after the birth of their first child, Joong Ki and Katy have now made their home in Korea, with speculation mounting about where their second child will be born.

JOONG KI and KATY's marriage
Joong Ki and Katy first crossed paths through a mutual acquaintance in 2021, with their relationship blossoming into marriage shortly after the actor publicly announced their romance in December 2022.
In his official statement addressing the rumors, he published: "She has a kind heart and has lived her life with passion. She is wise and wonderful to the extent that I respect her deeply.
"Thanks to her, I am becoming a better person."
Despite his busy schedule, which recently included international filming for the romantic drama Ro Gi Wan and his debut appearance at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival with the noir-thriller film Hopeless, Joong Ki has been unwavering in his support for his wife during her first pregnancy.
He is set to star in the upcoming crime drama movie Bogota and make a special appearance in the Netflix series Romantic Anonymous.
