It’s a love story—Taylor Swift just said yes!
American pop superstar Taylor Swift is now engaged to her NFL (National Football League) star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, after two years of dating.
On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Taylor surprised fans by sharing their engagement photos on Instagram.

The photos showed the pair embracing and holding hands in a floral setting, a close-up of Taylor’s oval diamond ring, and Travis down on one knee.
The post was captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
How Taylor and Travis Met
Taylor and Travis’ love story began in July 2023, when the singer’s Eras Tour stopped at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, the home of Travis’ team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Travis later revealed on his New Heights podcast that he had tried to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during the concert.
Although that attempt didn’t work out, word eventually reached Taylor, and they connected afterward.

By September 2023, rumors swirled as Taylor was spotted at a Chiefs game sitting with Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce.
That appearance essentially confirmed their romance, which quickly became one of the most talked-about relationships in both pop culture and sports.
Since then, the two have continued to show up for each other—Taylor attended numerous Chiefs games, including their Super Bowl win against the San Francisco 49ers in February 2024.
After the victory, the couple was spotted sharing a kiss on the field as the Chiefs celebrated their championship.
Meanwhile, Travis has also flown around the world to attend several stops of Taylor’s record-breaking Eras Tour, including her shows in London.
