"I'm not out of the woods yet, dear. Please continue to pray for me, my dear..." mensahe ni Joey sa kaibigan.

Ayon naman sa direktor at dating manager ng Mulatto na si Bert de Leon, "I knew that he was a diabetic and he suffered a mild stroke sometime last year.

"Recently, I heard he was a Person Under Monitoring (PUI) for COVID-19."

Pumanaw si Joey noong Huwebes, March 19, at na-cremate noong araw ring iyon.

JOEY DID NOT PERFORM IN LEGAZPI EVENT

Ayon kay Belinda, "For those asking, he was in Legazpi but did not perform in the Legazpi event."

"If any of you were around us the last 30 days, please monitor yourselves and get yourself checked if you don't feel well.
