Ito ang deklarasyon ng aktres na si Nikki Valdez sa kanyang Instagram ngayong Huwebes, April 15.
Isang linggo na kasing naka-recover si Nikki at ang asawa niyang si Luis Garcia sa nakakatakot na sakit na COVID-19.
Buong post ni Nikki sa Instagram: “It’s our COVID recovery Weeksary!!! [hugging face emoji]”
“Sabi nila kahit fully recovered ka na, may long term effect sa body at vital organs mo ang virus so kailangan pa rin ng continuous monitoring at pagpapalakas ng sistema at katawan.
“So Luis and I have started our daily dose of Vitamin D this week. [sun emoji]
“Stay strong. [flexed biceps emoji] Stay healthy. [white heart emoji] Gawin natin lahat para sa sarili para mabuhay ng matagal para sa mga mahal natin sa buhay. [sparkling heart emoji]

STRONGER TOGETHER
Isang linggo na ang nakararaan, masayang ibinahagi ni Nikki ang balitang nalampasan na nila ng kanyang asawa ang bangungot ng sakit.
Hindi raw alam ng mag-asawa kung ano ang gagawin nang malaman nilang positibo sila sa sakit.
Kasama kasi nila sa bahay ang ina ni Nikki na senior citizen at ang anak nila ni Luis na si Olivia.
Saad ng Kapamilya actress, “DAY 99 of 365.
“STRONGER TOGETHER.
“Two weeks ago, my husband and I tested positive for COVID— a most dreaded situation not any one of us would want to be in.
“It was so painful, we both did not know how to react. We were both just staring out the window.
“All we could think of was my Mom who was a senior and my daughter who lived with us.”
Hirap na hirap din daw sila sa pakikipaglaban sa sakit nung unang mga araw.
Kaya paalala ni Nikki sa mga tao, ang COVID-19 ay higit pa sa isang mapaminsalang virus.
“The first few days were the hardest. There were days that were okay and days that I felt just blah... Body aches, flu-like feeling a 1000x worst (but temp was normal— weird!!!), mild dry cough and 10-12 hours of sleep was not enough...
“COVID is more than a virus. It will toy not only with your physical health but mostly with your emotions. Its been the hardest first 7 days in isolation.”
Kaya naman, noong nagnegatibo na sila, masasabi niyang nalagpasan na nila ang kalbaryong dulot ng sakit.
Ani Nikki, “And so today, that agony has ended. All I can say is I am truly grateful to have a family and good friends who were there cheering on and giving endless support and love.
“I would like to thank our monitoring doctors for a job well done!!! You are truly the whole world’s unsung heroes making sure that we get well.
“Trials will break you if you allow it to but 14 days in isolation has given Luis and I once again a healthier perspective on things and has just made our whole family stronger together.
“COVID is real but so is our God who is our Divine healer. It is only by Your grace that we are alive and well!
