Darren Espanto singing Gary Valenciano's supposed part during an ASAP performance understandably relies on teleprompter to dictate the lyrics. When it failed dismally, Darren took it as lesson learned even if it wasn't his song: "Dapat memorize mo iyong lyrics mo.”

Darren Espanto had a performance mistake in one of his numbers in ASAP Natin ‘To yesterday, October 3, 2021.

Darren did a song-and-dance number to the tune of Bobby Brown’s “Little Step.”

The dance part of the intro was flawless.

Despite his effort to maintain his composure during a dismal performance, he simply lost it and sent hand signals to scroll up the teleprompter.

Darren also retweeted a netizen that showed a screenshot of Zsa Zsa Padilla’s comment on TikTok.

Apparently, the part that Darren missed singing was supposed to be Gary Valenciano’s, who was absent.

Zsa Zsa said, “That was Gary V’s part kaya nya Di memorized and nagloko yung teleprompter. He had to make it a solo coz biglaang absent si Gary V.”

Darren tagged Zsa Zsa in his tweet and said, “Love you, Tita @zsazsapadilla! [heart emoji]”
