This only goes to show the propensity of Tony Labrusca’s camp to do anything to protect him and that they are more concerned about a good P.R. slant rather than telling the public the truth."

Alonso: "We firmly stand that other than [female complainant's] unfounded, assertions, there is utter lack of evidence to support her accusations against our client.

"We sustain that Mr. Labrusca is innocent, and we shall remain steadfast in vindicating his name.

"To protect our client’s rights, we filed a Motion for Reconsideration questioning the credence of said ruling. Mr. Labrusca has posted bail, as well."

Pahayag ng legal counsel ng female complainant: “Today, Tony Labrusca’s camp through his counsel issued a misleading press release to the media claiming that he had already posted bail and that he has filed a Motion for Reconsideration of the Resolution of the Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati City finding probable cause to charge him with the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness.

“This is quite dubious and questionable since it has only been three working days since the case has been raffled to Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 61 Makati City on November 10, 2021.

“We doubt that the Honorable Presiding Judge Xavier Paolo Del Castillo was already able to issue a warrant of arrest for such a short period of time which is a prerequisite for the posting of bail."

Hindi pa rin daw natatanggap ng kampo ng female complainant ang kopya ng motion for reconsideration, at nang i-check nila ito sa Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati City kanina ay hindi pa ito naka-record.

Saad ni Atty. Tongol: “We also doubt the filing of such claimed Motion for Reconsideration as we had not received such copy yet and upon checking with the Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati City earlier, nothing was on record still.

“This only goes to show the propensity of Tony Labrusca’s camp to do anything to protect him and that they are more concerned about a good P.R. slant rather than telling the public the truth.

“We ask the members of the media to be more discerning and scrutinizing of claims and in their reportage consistent with their ethical principles."
