Ngayong Martes, July 12, ang kaarawan ng disc jockey at former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition housemate na si Rico Robles.
Itinaon ni Rico sa araw ng kanyang pagsilang ang rebelasyon na opisyal na ang relasyon nila ni Phoebe Walker, ang best supporting actress ng 42nd Metro Manila Film Festival noong December 2016 para sa Seklusyon.
Ang panig ni Phoebe tungkol sa pag-amin ni Rico na may relasyon na sila ang inalam ng Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) sa eksklusibong panayam ngayong Martes.
Hindi naging maramot ang aktres sa pagbabahagi sa kuwento ng kanilang pagmamahalan.
“Kilig-to-the max!” reaksiyon ni Phoebe nang makita nito ang social media post ni Rico na "in a relationship" sila.
Dagdag pa niya, “Of course, being in our industry saying it openly like that is rare, plus today is his birthday, I didn’t think he’d like to share the spotlight.
“Magkatabi kami in front of his best friends when he asked me if I wanted to make it official, so it was a genuine moment.”
Kailan at paano nagsimula ang relasyon nila?
Lahad ni Phoebe, “We met years ago in the gym but both were unavailable at the time. Then both our relationships unfolded the way that they did and we found ourselves single last year.
“Nagkaroon ako ng COVID noong January [2022] and posted my symptoms online, Rico being a nurse, talked to me about remedies and sent me his own honey, lemon and ginger concoction. He was very caring and consistent.
“Then in March, we started dating and it’s been breezy since then.”
Ano ang special qualities na nakita ni Phoebe kay Rico na wala sa ibang lalakeng nakilala niya?
Sagot niya, “The first thing that really drew me to him was his focus and determination in life.
“I’ve never met somebody quite like him that has such a clear outlook and who’s willing to motivate everyone around him to be better also. He protects me and, to be honest, this is the most womanly I’ve ever felt.
“Coming from my past relationship, I prayed na the right one for me really understands my work and supports my career.
“I imagined someone from show business too but not an actor. Hindi ko rin gets ang sarili kong prayer but now it makes sense.
“God made it make sense to me, and gave me much more than what I asked for. He’s so supportive that he’s seen all my movies and projects, interviews and he helps me develop my hosting.
“Apart from acting, that’s another route I want to open for me. The icing on top is he understands the demands of my work, and trusts me fully.”
Hindi lamang ang pagiging maalalahanin at mapagmahal ang mga katangian ni Rico na nagustuhan ni Phoebe dahil pinahahalagahan din daw nito ang mga ginagawa ng kanyang boyfriend para sa kanyang pamilya.
“Hindi pa man kami, he’s made efforts to get to know my family agad. He surprised us on Mother’s day with a cake at home, first time niya to meet my mom,” saad ni Phoebe.
Paano niya napagtanto na mahal niya si Rico.
Sagot ni Phoebe, “It’s a continuous process. We still discover something new about each other every day.
“He brings out a different side of me and I bring out a different side of him. And that’s what makes it exciting for me.”
