“I am doing well here in Singapore. I am having a great time and enjoying my college life since it is very different from my life in the Philippines,” pahayag ni Aneeza sa panayam sa kanya ng Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) ngayong Linggo ng umaga, December 11, 2022.
“My usual day to day life is waking up early, getting my things and myself ready for school. Then I take the public transportation, specifically the bus which takes 30-40 minutes from my dorm to my school.
“Then after school, I usually go straight back to the dorm to take a rest or minsan nag-aaya yung friends ko na kumain sa mall.
“Siguro po as time goes by, mas nararamdaman ko na medyo homesick na ako and I miss what I usually do in the Philippines, like eating my favorite Filipino food, hanging out with my friends.
"But the thing I miss the most is just being around my family."
Dagdag pa niya, “Though sobrang thankful po ako that I was given a chance to study abroad, and I wouldn’t change anything since my current journey is shaping me to become an independent and better person.”
Saad niya, “I chose to study in Singapore since the school has a program to study in three different countries; which are Singapore for my 1st year, Dubai [UAE] for my 2nd year, and Australia for my 3rd and 4th year in College.
“I am grateful that they gave me a great opportunity to experience this kind of program. I am doing my best to study well to improve myself and also to make my parents proud.”
“They never expected po na I wanted to do a part-time job. I made a decision to consider doing part-time work po kasi I want to save up money for my future.
"And I do not want to always rely on my parents for money, kaya kahit papaano po I have my own money I could save and use for my everyday needs.
“Also, it is for experience, I think of it as a learning step in life, it made me realize how to value money and how to allocate it wisely.
“My current part-time job is in a Japanese restaurant near my dorm, the workload is challenging but I am having fun.”
Tugon ni Aneeza, “As of now, I would put acting aside to focus on my studies but I am still open about it.
“At first I was hesitant to try acting, I was not interested in it considering my whole family are in showbiz.
“But, I always had a 'what if.' I thought, 'What if I tried acting?'
“Then I had an opportunity to act in a small part in Jolly Spirit Squad. I was still hesitant but I gave it a try. It made me overcome a 'fear' that I had of acting, but I enjoyed it.
“I would maybe continue my acting career after I graduate college.”
