Praying we get to retrieve it using it’s tracking feature.”
Update niya sa kanyang Instagram Story: “God is so so good! Found my phone. What a day. Kwento soon…
“Thank you Lord. Akala ko imposible na. This is all You.”

TRACKING HER LOST PHONE
Lahad ni Camille: “Story time about how we found my iPhone.
“March 25, Philippine Arena: BlackPink Concert 5:42pm.
“My phone got stolen from my bag before the concert started.
“Called VJ right away so they can mark my phone as lost using my laptop and erase all data as well."

Pagpapatuloy niya, “We have a tracker installed in my phone, the moment I called VJ, the phone was already in the parking lot area.
“9:30pm: leaving Philippine Arena already while VJ on the other hand, together with Ice, were on the way to Philippine Arena coz the phone can still be tracked there.
“At this point, phone was already locked and erased through the laptop.
“It was also turned off by the person holding it.”

Lahad pa ni Camille: “March 27, 3:00am: VJ and Ice got home after following the location of the phone and which house it ended in. Ala Taken movie.
“8:30am: VJ and I can still track the phone. Still at the same house where VJ last saw it.
“We went to the nearest police station of the location and showed them how we can still track the phone.
“They accompanied us to the house where the phone was last tracked.

“When we got there, we got in touch with someone from their homeowner’s association to assist us as well as the village guards.
“VJ spoke to them the night before coz that’s where they followed the phone.
“We knocked and asked the owners of the 2 houses if they chanced upon my phone which was lost in the arena.
“No mention of it getting stolen, we didn’t want to accuse anyone of such thing, just really trying to explain to them that my phone can still be tracked on that exact location at baka napansin nila.
“To no avail, they said they don’t know anything about it and that nobody from their homes went to Philippine Arena.
"But clearly, the tracker says that the phone is there."

“12:00pm, went back to the police station. VJ and the police officers asked if they can review the CCTV of the village gate to see which vehicles went in between 1:15-1:20am because the phone notified that it reached there at 1:20am.

“1:00pm, the phone changed its location. From the house where we went to, it can now be located near IBP road.
“We left to follow it together with the police officers. We did not find it.
“2:00pm, the phone moved again and was located at Shopwise Commonwealth Ave. We followed together with the police officers.
“At this point, I feel like chances are slim na coz we’re now in a public place and its going to be harder na to find the phone.

“4:00pm, we decided to stop following na coz it felt like we’re chasing a mouse with no lead or idea who exactly we are looking for who has my phone. Umuwi na kami. On our way home we saw that the phone moved again. It is now at Precinct 6.
“5:30pm, more than an hour later, checking the location, it’s still at Precinct 6. VJ said, ‘Love di kaya sinurrender na yung phone sa police station,’ we called the police officers we were with to confirm by calling.

“6:00pm, we received a call from by brother who knows someone working at Precinct 6 saying somebody sent my phone there via a motorcycle delivery service. WE FOUND THE PHONE!”

REALIZATIONS
Sabi niya, “VJ and I were both in tears. We were praying the moment we left the house, on the road, before going down to the police station
“It’s both our first time to ever go to a police station to ask for help, we didn’t know what to expect.
“We just prayed and prayed that things will fall into place and that God will help us find it.

"And He did. Only He alone can change people’s hearts and that probably led the person who has my phone to eventually surrender it back.
“They could’ve easily dumped it or threw it anywhere.”

Ani Camille, “Realizations. Don’t be scared to ask for help. The police officers who assisted us were very helpful.
“They didn’t know at first it was me, I was wearing a hat and a mask. They attended to us and helped us immediately.
“It was the people in the houses we went to who actually recognized me (medyo shookt ata sila kung bakit ako nandun).

“Kindness always prevails. God knows our hearts and we really wanted to deal with this as peacefully as we can.
“No harsh words, no accusations. Never ending pakiusap lang talaga.

“The amazing power of prayers looking for a lost phone can seem imposible.
“From Bulacan to Caloocan to Commonwealth to Batasan Precinct. Ang daming pinagdaanan.
“VJ and I remained hopeful that we will get it back. Who would’ve thought na babalik yung phone not by force from the person who has it but by him simply sending it to a police station to return it. Only God can make that happen.”

Brought Nolan with us coz we wanted to meet the officers who helped us."

“Lastly, I want to thank my husband for not giving up. Also to kuya Ice Yambao who was his tech guy while he was driving. Thank you guys. Akalain mo yun.
“I think though that my husband’s motivation in tracking it down was because he doesn’t want to buy me a new phone. Iba din ang kuripot talaga.
“And to our other kids at home who prayed for us as we look for it love you.”

CASE CLOSED!
“If you’re using an iPhone, make sure you activated find my phone. It is very helpful.
“Once locked by the owner, di na siya mauunlock para maibenta ulit. In fairness sa security ng Apple.”
