Isang apology letter ang inilabas ng content creator na si Ayn Bernos kaugnay ng lumabas na artikulo sa isang digital publication tungkol kay Kathryn Bernardo.
Si Ayn, na former Miss Universe Philippines 2021 contestant, ang editor-in-chief ng Nylon Manila.
Recently, isang article ang ipinost ng publication tungkol sa Kapamilya A-lister na si Kathryn at ng latest movie project niya.
May titulong “We’re here for Kathryn Bernardo’s Experimental Era,” at tinalakay rito ang out-of-the-box role ni Kathryn sa upcoming movie na A Very Good Girl, kung saan kasama si Dolly de Leon.
Pero pinuna ng maraming supporters ni Kat ang artikulo, gayundin si Ayn, na pinayagan daw ma-publish ang artikulo.
Tinawag nilang “backhanded compliments” ang paglalarawan kay Kath. Ang dating ng pagkakasulat ay papuri at pagpuna sa aktres.
Para sa ibang supporters, ang ibang bahagi ng artikulo ay pagpuna umano ito sa kanilang idolo.
Binatikos din nang husto si Ayn dahil daw pinayagan niyang ma-publish ang article.
Isa pa naman daw siyang advocate ng women empowerment, pero hinayaang ibaba ang babaeng katulad ni Kathryn sa artikulong lumabas.
Kahit na na-edit na ang artikulo ay patuloy pa rin ang pagbatikos sa publication at kay Ayn.
AYN RELEASES APOLOGY LETTER
Ipinost ni Ayn sa X (dating Twitter) ang kanyang apology letter.
Bungad niya: “Recently, we published an article titled ‘We’re here for Kathryn Bernardo’s Experimental Era’ with every intention of commending her new role on A Very Good Girl.
“I understand, however, that I have overlooked the tone and word choice in some parts of the piece.
“I take full responsibility for this. Personally and professionally, I believe in lifting women up and creating safe spaces for us to thrive, and I am sorry for this oversight.”
Tinapos ni Ayn ang letter sa pagsasabing may mga natutunan siya sa karanasang ito at patuloy niyang pag-iigihan ang kanyang trabaho.”

THE PARTS THAT DISPLEASED THE FANS
Pero ano nga ba ang mga bahagi ng artikulo na ikinagalit ng ibang fans ni Kathryn?

Hindi rin daw nila nagustuhan ang pagkumpara kay Kathryn sa iba pang Kapamilya stars na nag-venture sa ibang genre para mag-grow bilang actors.
Sabi ng artikulo, “While there is nothing wrong with wanting our fave actors and actresses to take on movies and roles we loved them for, they also deserve to spread their wings creatively and expand into different projects.”
At saka binanggit ang mga artistang umalis sa love teams para mag-grow tulad daw nina Enrique Gil, Nadine Lustre, Liza Soberano, at Andrea Brillantes.
