Aniya, “I am a fan of the original singer of the song, siyempre, si Sir Basil Valdez,” umpisang pahayag ni Ronnie.
“And I usually sing this song at my shows and concerts.
“Matagal ko ng pangarap ma-i-record and magkaroon ng version of this classic OPM song.”
Kaya naman labis ang pasasalamat ni Ronnie nang mabigyan siya ng permiso na i-record at i-release ang naturang kanta.

SECRET TO MAINTAINING HIS VOICE
Sa paglipas ng mga taon, napapanatili ni Ronnie ang kanyang magandang singing voice, may sekreto ba siyang ritwal para rito?
“I practice every day, by vocalizing, and I hydrate. Our voice is a muscle too and it also needs some workout and rest.
“I usually sing while I run or jog.”
Nakagawian na rin daw ni Ronnie na kumanta habang umaakyat at bumababa ng hagdan!
“I like climbing stairs to exercise my breathing and to practice stability which is important while singing live on stage.”
SINGING IN THE TIME OF SOCIAL MEDIA
Sa tingin ni Ronnie, sa paglaganap at pamamayani ng social media, mas madali na ba ngayon na magkaroon ng hit song?
Dati kasi, para mangyari ito ay kailangang paulit-ulit na patugtugin ang mga kanta sa mga radio stations, magbenta ng CD, at kung anu-ano pa.

“Especially nowadays na nasa digital era na tayo, your music can be heard anywhere.
“Your music video can be seen anywhere.
“It’s a big blessing din talaga na nagkaganun.

BEYOND SINGING
Samantala, hindi lamang sa pagkanta abala si Ronnie. Isa rin kasi siyang piloto, army reservist, estudyante, at aktor.
Paano niya nababalanse ang kanyang oras, may panahon pa ba siya para sa kanyang sarili?
“I have had a lot of realizations during the height of the pandemic, that life is too short and we actors/performers/ and artists are so vulnerable, so we need to prepare for the inevitable, and by the grace of God, we will accomplish our goals in life.
“Right now time is our challenge, we need to prepare and habang may time and opportunity and lakas i-achieve natin ang mga gusto natin sa buhay and para wala din tayong regrets.
“Yung time sa sarili we can have it anytime, pero yung mga studies like my Ph.D. in Development Administration na tine-take sa PCU, training & schoolings of Commercial Pilot Course sa Pilipinas Space and Aviation Academy & Philippine Army, I need to be focused sa dedicated sa time to finish all of them.
“And hopefully, soon I’ll be eligible to become a commercial pilot license holder.”

Samantala, magkakaroon ng concert si Ronnie sa November 10, 2023, sa Grand Hyatt Manila sa Bonifacio Global City.
