Solenn Heussaff has taken a break from accepting acting projects, whether for TV or movies, as she appears to be thoroughly enjoying her role as a mother.
The Kapuso star and her husband Nico Bolzico are parents to two lovely daughters: Tili, who is 3 years old, and their 10-month-old baby girl, Maëlys Lionel.
On October 16, 2023, Solenn was interviewed by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and she related her thoughts on her experience as a mother.
"I love it, which is why I'm just a mom at the moment," she said at the grand opening of Gentle Monster in Shangri-La at the Fort, Bonifacio Global City.
Solenn went on to say that she's focused on her role for now, which is why she isn't actively pursuing her showbiz career at the moment.
"I have my side businesses, but I'm not really in showbiz so much because I'm super just taking advantage of the young age [of my kids].
"And then later on, when they won't want me anymore, then I'll start working again."
Is she planning to remain on hiatus for an extended period?
She answered, "I mean, maybe in the next two years, kung super gusto ko yung project. But for now, yeah, I'm enjoying [motherhood]."
It's worth noting that the Kapuso Network has already begun working on Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre, a sequel to the popular telefantasya series Encantadia, which originally aired in 2016.
In the original series, Solenn portrayed the pivotal character of Cassiopea, the first queen of the fictional realm of Lireo.
When asked if she would be interested in the series, Solenn replied, "That, I said, kung may Encantadia, I will do it."
ENCANTADIA CHRONICLES: SANG'GRE
Just recently, the Kapuso Network made an official announcement about the chosen lead stars for the upcoming Encantadia sequel.
On October 23, 2023, it was confirmed that Bianca Umali will play Terra, daughter of Sang'gre Danaya (portrayed by Sanya Lopez) and the new keeper of the earth gem.
Bianca was known for her previous role as Lawiswis in both Encantadia (2016) and Mulawin vs. Ravena (2017).

On October 27, 2023, the Kapuso Network announced that Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, and Kelvin Miranda have also been selected to play three of the new Sang'gre characters.

Faith will take on the role of Flamarra, the appointed guardian of the fire gem. Angel, on the other hand, will portray Deia, the guardian of the air gem. Kelvin will play the role of Adamus, the first male Sang'gre entrusted with the water gem.
