Very proud ang lawyer-producer na si Atty. Joji Alonso sa obra ng Quantum Films na Kampon.
Four years in the making ang pelikulang pinagbibidahan nina Derek Ramsay, Beauty Gonzalez, at ang baguhang child actress na si Erin Espiritu.
Ang Kampon ang isa sa first four official entries na inanunsiyo ng Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) para sa Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 noong July.

Pahayag ni Atty. Joji sa press conference ng Kampon noong nakaraang linggo, “Ang hirap-hirap talaga kasi sampu kayong naglalaban-laban and it's no joke.
"It's a very difficult year.
"I can really feel it after all the MMFF festivals Quantum has participated in.
"Sana po suportahan niyo ang lahat ng entries kasi alam namin pareho-pareho kung gaano katindi ang hirap ng pinagdadaanan namin sa sampung mga pelikula."

Pagmamalaki pa ng movie producer, ang Kampon ang kauna-unahang pelikula ng Quantum Films na may storyboard.
Kadalasan ay ad agencies lamang ang gumagamit ng storyboard.
Aniya, "Ang Kampon po is the very first movie that I produced where we had a storyboard from start until end.
"Napakadugo pala pag may storyboard.
"Mahirap pala kapag ang direktor mo ay nasa advertising kasi sobrang detailed and he wants to be prepared for every single scene.
"So, in that sense, lalong humirap because, normally, when we do a romance, drama, a comedy, meron kang six shots, marami na yung ten shots per sequence.
"Dito po sa pelikulang ito, meron isang sequence na umabot kami ng thirty-six shots."
"THIS HORROR FILM HAS A HEART."
Giit ni Atty. Joji, kahit horror ang Kampon ay may puso pa rin ang pelikula.
Saad niya, "But, I think that this horror film has a heart.
"As what Quantum always wants to achieve, gusto namin lahat ng pelikula na ginagawa namin ay may puso.
"So, doon po ako nananalig sa strength ng pelikulang ito.
"Marami kaming jump scares, maraming pasabog, literally.
"And I really hope you will enjoy this film."
Masaya rin daw siyang cooperative lahat ng cast at crew ng pelikula.
Bukod kina Derek, Beauty, at Erin, kasama rin sa pelikula sina Zeinab Harake, Nico Antonio, at marami pang iba. Mula ito sa panulat ni Dado Dayao at direksiyon ni King Palisoc.
Lahad ni Atty. Alonso, "I've had, you know, despite the difficulty of producing a horror film, sobrang gaan ng set namin kasi lahat ng tao, from top to bottom, really prepared and worked hard.
"Wala po kaming instances na nakatengga dahil walang ginagawa.
"Lahat po talaga ready and ready to go.
"And I appreciate and thank the entire cast and crew.
"From Dado who wrote it repeatedly. Nakailang changes along the way.
"Nico who plays a very difficult role.
"And of course, to King, who together with Dado, we have been working on this film for the last four years or so, trying to improve it as best as we can.
"And I'm also very grateful to Zeinab for trusting Quantum to be her very first appearance in showbiz.
"And after auditioning so many children, we found our Jade in this movie—and that's Erin Espiritu. And she's really, really good in this film.
"Sabi ko nga, e, kung meron born to be an actress, itong batang yun. Itong batang ito. She's really born to be an actress.
"And of course, to Beauty Gonzalez, who, paano ba, sabi nga ni King, she's a very educated actress.
"She really studied the material from start until end.
"And yung last few parts of this film, habang pinapanood ko, talaga, I could feel the goosebumps, kinikilabutan ako sa ginawa niya.
"And Derek, who really immersed himself into the role of Clark.
"Thank you, D, for doing this for me, I know.
"Hindi lang siya makatanggi sa akin, kaya niya ito ginawa.
"And I'm very, very grateful for that.
"And I'm very proud that Derek has done another great act and masterpiece in this movie, Kampon."
Samantala, sa nasabing event din inamin ni Derek na nabuntis ang asawa niyang si Ellen Adarna ngunit nakunan ito.
