Kinumpirma ni Max Eigenmann na walang isyu sa mothers ng mga anak ni Mark Gil, Ralph Eigenmann sa totoong buhay — maging sa kanilang mga magkakapatid sa ama.

Ang mga babaeng naanakan ni Mark ay sina Irene Celebre, Bing Pimentel, Jaclyn Jose, at Maricar Jacinto.
Anak ni Irene si Gabby Eigenmann.
Anak ni Bing sina Max at Sid Lucero.
Anak ni Jaclyn si Andi Eigenmann.
“Wala talaga,” sambit ni Max sa lamay kay Jaclyn, Mary Jane Guck sa totoong buhay, nitong Marso 5, 2024, Martes ng gabi sa, Arlington Memorial Chapels sa Araneta Ave., Quezon City.
“Wala talaga ever since.”

MAX EIGENMANN ON JACLYN JOSE
Paano ang relationship niya with Jaclyn?
Napangiti si Max, “It’s such a fond memory lalo na when I was young. Kasi Andi and I studied in the same school, and we’re three years apart.
“So, maraming weekends dati nung kabataan namin na dun ako natutulog palagi sa bahay ni Tita Jane.
“Para makipaglaro din kay Andi. Tapos pati yung mga kaibigan ni Andi sa village nila, naging kaibigan ko na rin.
“And during that time din kasi, yung grandparents namin, si Mama at saka si Papa, dun din sila nakatira sa LGV [Loyola Grand Villas].
“So I spent a lot of time, weekends.”
Is it the same house?
“No, no, no. Different house but just the same village. So, I would spend weekends with Mama and Papa, and also Tita Jane and Andi, when I was very young.”
Walang away?
“Wala talaga.”
Between Grade 3 and Grade 5 daw si Max noong nag-i-sleep over siya with Andi.
“May times before na kunyari, mag-a-out of town yung mom ko, iiwan niya ako kay Tita Jane.”
Isiniwalat ni Bing na nagalit si Mark minsan dahil friendly si Bing with Jaclyn.

Napakunot-noo si Max, “Hindi naman. Hindi ko alam yun, ah?! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Hindi ko alam yun!
“I think, if anything, the best part about my relationship with my siblings is, yun nga, blessing that all our moms also extended the same love that they have for their children sa mga siblings namin.
“So, yung mom ko, alam ko na mahal niya ang mga kapatid ko, the same way I felt the same love from Tita Jane, as well as my stepmom Maricar.
“So, nagmamahalan kaming lahat. We’re one beautiful, awesome blended family.
MAX ON WORKING WITH JACLYN
Nagkatrabaho sina Max at Jaclyn sa Kapamilya teleseryeng Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo (Enero-Hulyo 2010).
Tampok din doon sina Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez, Coco Martin, Gina Pareño, Maricar Reyes, at Jessy Mendiola.
“It was one of my first soaps,” pakli ni Max.
Sinuportahan ba siya noon ni Jaclyn pagdating sa work?
“Oo naman. Actually during that soap, kasi parang, you know, pag maraming stories na nangyayari sa soap, hindi masyadong nagkakasama yung mga scenes namin,” salaysay ni Max.
“Nagkikita lang kami sa set. So it was nice and fun, and you know, she calls me ‘Anak.’ Yeah.”
Close talaga sila ng half-sister niyang si Andi.
“Kaming mga girls, super. Kaming apat,” sabi ni Max.
“There’s Ira, she’s based in the States. She’s a pastry chef now in the States. And then there’s me, and then Andi and Stevie.
“And then, ang dalawa naming brothers, si Sid saka si Kuya Gabby.”
ON DYING ALONE
Sabi ng ina ni Max na si Bing, takot itong pumanaw na mag-isa. Huwag daw sanang mangyari kay Bing iyong sinapit ni Jaclyn na wala itong kasama noong yumao.
“My God, that’s so sad!” bulalas ni Max. “I don’t wanna think about that.”
Lagi naman daw silang nakakasama ni Bing.
“Yeah, pareho kami, ako at saka yung younger brother ko, si Diego. Magkasama kami sa house, with my two boys,” sabi ni Max.
“And then yung brother ko, si Sid, nasa same village lang din naman siya.”
So, hindi mangyayari yung na maiiwang mag-isa ang mom niya?
“Yes!”
Ano ang reaksyon niya nang mabalitaan ang pagpanaw ni Jaclyn?
“Disbelief and shock, of course! And of course, the number one was… I was worried about my sister,” lahad ni Max.
“Specifically Andi, siyempre that’s her mom, so… yun yung number one, yun yung pinakaunang pumasok sa isip ko.
“I wanted to hug her, I wanted to see her, pero she was in Siargao, so I had to wait for her to fly. Nagkita na kami finally kagabi, ayun.”
Kumusta ang pagkikita nila ni Andi?
“Isang malaking akap. Wala nang words na kailangang sabihin,” sagot ni Max.
Sa pagpanaw ni Jaclyn, para rin siyang namatayan ng mother?
Mabilis na tugon ni Max, “Of course. Of course. In all my life, she’s been there, you know. And it’s like an extension of my family.
“So it’s quite… actually, hindi pa siya nagsi-sink in, to be honest.”
