Sa unang pagkakataon ay magsasama sa isang TV project sina Charlene Gonzalez, ang mister niyang si Aga Muhlach, at ang mga anak nilang sina Atasha at Andres Muhlach.
Mapapanood sila sa TV5 sitcom na Da Pers Family simula Hulyo 21, 2024, Linggo.

Kaya naitanong kay Charlene kung ano ang saloobin niya tungkol sa “first” TV project ng kanilang pamilya.
Sabi ni Charlene, “I would say for Aga and I, I could say Da Pers Family is a personal journey.
"Kasi mahabang proseso ang pinagdaanan before we were able to actually say na, ‘Kaya ba natin ito? We’re gonna work together?’
“Kasi before this, kami ni Aga, we would just do commercials together, especially pag kasama ang mga bata.
"Parang sine-shelter namin sila sa public life.
“So it was quite a process that we went through."

Naisip daw nilang mag-asawa na maaaring ituring na "blessing" ang makatrabaho nila sina Atasha at Andres na nag-uumpisa pa lang sa kanilang showbiz careers.
Pagtuloy ni Charlene, "And then once we decided, we said, ‘You know what? Why not get the opportunity to work with our family?'
"And what a blessing it is to be able to be witness, sa mga unang hakbang nila sa industriya, kasama mo sila through every step.
“And not only that, to be able to work with really just great actors and creative people behind Da Pers Family is really such a blessing and an honor.
“I would say possibly baka the first, maybe only time na gagawin namin ito as a project with us as family.
“So it’s very special, and I’m happy that we’re gonna get this opportunity to share the laughter and the fun sa inyong lahat, sa lahat ng mga kababayan natin.”
muhlach family's first taping day
Nagbahagi rin si Charlene ng karanasan nila sa first taping day.
Aniya, “Yung first taping day namin, mararamdaman mo talaga when everyone is together, talagang magical talaga yung moment.
"Everyone’s happy to be there, mararamdaman mo parang naging pamilya kayo kaagad.
“So we’re really happy to share this with all of you.”
May reaksiyon din si Charlene tungkol sa pag-arte sa harap ng kamera nina Atasha at Andres.
“In fairness, di ba ang hirap niyan? Imagine first time ka aarte tapos kasama mo yung mga great actors and actresses, di ba nakakakaba talaga iyon,” at natawa si Charlene.
CHARLENE AND AGA ARE CO-ACTORS TO ATASHA AND ANDRES
Bago raw nagdesisyon ang kambal na pumasok sa showbiz, nag-usap sina Charlene at Aga tungkol sa magiging set-up.
“Okay, let’s go way back kasi siyempre alam ng lahat magkapatid sila, kambal sila.
"But growing up, Aga really did a conscious effort para magkaroon sila ng sariling identity to the point na they went to different schools, they studied in different countries.
"So as artists naman, Aga and I talked about it na parang, ‘Anong gagawin nating diskarte dito? When we go on the set do we, will we be a parent?'
"But we decided that we will be co-actors.
“And then we will just let our writers, and then of course the cast and our director, to take charge. So we’re just in the backseat.
“Pagdating naman sa artistry nila, we allow them to grow and create the path or journey that they will be taking.
“So pag humihingi naman sila ng tulong or guidance sa amin, we’re there for them, but we give them and we respect their individual creativity.”
Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang miyembro ng media si Charlene sa mediacon ng Da Pers Family na ginanap nitong Hulyo 15, 2024, sa Media Center ng TV5 sa Reliance St. sa Mandaluyong City.
Bukod sa Muhlach family ay nasa cast ng Da Pers Family sina Bayani Agbayani, Ces Quesada, Heart Ryan, Kedebon Colim, Sam Coloso, Chad Kinis, at Roderick Paulate.
