Pinuna ng ilang netizens ang TV Patrol anchor na si Karen Davila dahil sa tila pagwawalang-bahala nito sa kontribusyon ng P-pop boy group na SB19 sa international music scene.

Sa pagtatapos ng TV Patrol noong July 23, 2024, may ulat sila tungkol sa "Nation’s Girl Group" na BINI.

Ibinalita ritong matapos ang regional tour ng BINI, magtatanghal naman sila sa KCON event sa Los Angeles, U.S.A.
Komento ni Karen matapos ang ulat bago ang kanilang extro spiels, “Ang galing ng BINI.
"At saka maganda dun, ang K-pop sikat sa buong mundo, maganda yung BINI na silang magbubukas ng pintuan para [sa] P-pop.
"Pag sumikat sila, sisikat din yung iba pang Pilipino."
NETIZENS BLAST KAREN DAVILA
Sa Facebook, samu't saring pangangaral ang ibinahagi ng netizens kay Karen tungkol sa SB19, na siya umanong tunay na nagbukas ng pintuan para makilala ang P-pop sa international scene.
Sabi ng isa (published as is), "Excuse me lang po ha maam Karen Davila. I am not against with BINI_ph and their effort para makilala din ang PPop but i think no need for them na magbukas pa ng pintuan kasi bukas na po ito pati ang main gate.
"Nabuksan na po ng SB19 years ago pa po. With the recognition they earned such as from Billboard, Nickelodeon, Asian Artist Awards, Grammy and different award giving body around the globe.
"TV guesting from various show in USA, Featured in BBC World, Collaboration with different international artists, Sold out Concerts from different Countries and many more.
"Sikat ang PPop ngayon dahil sa SB19, huwag nyo pong i-invalidate ang hardships, efforts and determination na ginawa nila to put the PPop Music to where it is now. Do your research po. Thank you."
Pagtataray naman ng isa, "When Karen Davila said: 'Ang K-pop sikat sa buong mundo, maganda yung BINI na sila magbubukas ng pintuan para sa P-pop. Pag sumikat sila sisikat din yung ibang Pilipino.'
"Ewan ko bakit ganyan palagi yang mga news anchor na yan, hindi na nagbago.

"Yeah Bini is a talent of your network (should I call it network pa ba) but then again you can just promote BINI by not discrediting SB19 and acknowledging every bit of the efforts, hardships, and bashing that they get especially when they are just starting.
"The awards, tours and concerts they had not just locally but internationally as well really speak that the group has made a name even without a network to promote them but because of their talents, skills and perseverance to reach their dreams, with the help of course of A’TIN.

Pinakitaan naman ng isa si Karen ng resibo na mismong sina ABS-CBN Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez, at singer Jed Madela ang nagsabing ang SB19 ang pinakasikat na P-pop group sa Pilipinas at nagbukas ng pintuan para makilala ang Pinoy songs sa iba't ibang panig ng mundo.
Ayon dito, "Maam Karen Davila ito po oh. Mismo ang nagbuo ng grupong Bini ang nagsabi na ang SB19 ang pioneer at dahilan bakit sikat ang PPop. FYI lng po."

Baka hindi raw naman intensiyon nitong ipagsawalang-bahala ang natamong tagumpay ng SB19.

"I think it was never her (Ms. Karen Davila) intention to invalidate nor negate SB19's contribution to the music industry.
"Biased opinion, maybe. Cause BINI is ABS-CBN's hottest commodity right now. But I don't see any malicious intent towards SB19."
2016 pa nabuo ang SB19 na nag-training sa South Korea.
2018 sila pormal na inilunsad.
Ang SB19 ay kinabibilangan nina Stell, Pablo, Justin, Josh, at Ken.
