Kinumpirma ni James Reid na si Liza Soberano ang mismong nagdesisyong umalis sa poder ng Careless Music.
Ang Careless Music ay isang record label at talent management company na pinamumunuan ng actor-singer na si James.

Nitong September 14, 2024 tuluyang isinapubliko ng pamunuan ng Careless Music ang pag-alis ni Liza sa roster of artists ng kumpanya.
Mababasa sa kanilang pahayag via Instagram Story:
"Liza Soberano is no longer under Careless Music Management effective July 29, 2024.
"It has been a pleasure to have represented her and we wish her the best in all of her endeavors."

Dahil dito, maraming haka-haka ang nagsilabasan. Kabilang na rito na si James daw diumano ang mismong nag-terminate sa kontrata ni Liza.
Mayroon ding lumabas na espekulasyong si Liza mismo ang tumapos sa ugnayan niya kay James at kumpanya nitong Careless Music. Lalo pang naging tampok ng usap-usapan ang isyu nang i-unfollow ni Liza sa Instagram ang official account ng talent management.
JAMES SPEAKS UP ABOUT LIZA'S DEPARTURE
Para tuldukan ang mga nagsisilabasang espekulasyon, naglabas ng pahayag si James tungkol sa dahilan ng pag-alis ni Liza sa Careless Music.
Sa eksklusibong panayam ni MJ Felipe ng ABS-CBN News, Martes, September 17, kinumpirma ni James na si Liza ang nagdesisyong lisanin ang kaniyang dating talent management.
Hindi pinigilan ni James si Liza. Malinaw naman daw sa usapan nila noon na maaaring umalis si Liza sa kanyang pangangalaga sa oras na gustuhin ng dalaga.
Pahayag ni James: "We decided to make this statement because there's a lot of rumors na hindi na siya [part] ng Careless.
"So we decided to release the statement just to confirm, para there's no confusion.
"Desisyon niya [Liza] na umalis sa Careless.
"Actually, sa lahat ng contracts and agreements I have with my artists, there’s a termination for convenience clause, na anytime puwedeng umalis, as long as I agree.
"And nag-agree naman ako."
LIZA CHOOSES a DIFFERENT PATH
Wala raw masamang tinapay sa pagitan nina James at Liza.
Bago raw nagdesisyon ang aktres na umalis sa Careless Music ay nakapag-usap pa sila ni James.
Sinabi raw ni Liza na mas gusto talaga niyang ipokus ang career sa Hollywood kaysa manatili sa Pilipinas.
Pagbabahagi ni James, "We have different, I guess, career paths. Mas focus siya sa U.S. career, going to Hollywood, all of that. And kami mas focus dito sa Pilipinas."
Sa halip na pigilan si Liza, nanaig daw kay James ang pagtitiwala niya kay Liza na gagawin nito ang lahat para maabot ang mga pangarap.
Paliwanag pa ni James: "Actually, Liza's been very proactive with her career ever since she joined Careless. She has a very clear idea of where she wants to go with her career and everything.
"And towards the end, basically, mina-manage niya ang sarili niya.
"And, you know, now that she's in the U.S., it makes sense that Careless is no longer in the picture, which I'm okay with."
Dagdag pa niya, "Actually, our agreement from the beginning was very loose. I didn't make her famous.
"She was Liza Soberano already when she came on board, which is why I was so flexible."
June 2022 nang maging bahagi si Liza ng Careless Music.
Sa eksklusibong panayam ng PEP kay James noong December 2022, ibinahagi niya na suportado ng Careless ang kagustuhan ni Liza na maabot ang Hollywood dream nito.
Na-expose si Liza noon sa ilang events sa U.S. kasama ang manager na si James, at doon nakilala ng dalaga ang American director na si Zelda Williams, na naging daan para ma-cast si Liza sa Lisa Frankenstein.

Balik sa panayam ng ABS-CBN, tinanong si James kung lahat ng deals ni Liza sa America ay sariling sikap ni Liza at hindi dahil sa Careless.
Sagot ni James: "Well, I did help her a lot with the initial meetings with her co-management in the U.S., even with that first film [Lisa Frankenstein]. I introduced the director, but everything after that was really her.
"Now that she's no longer with Careless, I know she has a co-management in the U.S., that's Transparent Arts.
"I believe that she’s getting into production for her own series. I think, film as well. She’s still auditioning for the projects in the U.S.

JAMES WORKING WITH LIZA
Pumirma ng kontrata si Liza sa Careless Music noong June 2022 matapos niyang magdesisyong hindi mag-renew ng kontrata sa Star Magic, ang talent management arm ng ABS-CBN, at sa co-manager na si Ogie Diaz.
Sa halos dalawang taong pagma-manage ni James sa showbiz career ni Liza ay isa lang daw ang napatunayan niya—na si Liza ay "very cooperative."

Pahayag ni James: "I don't like to see myself as ako yung boss niya.
"It's more like I'm an artist that's managing myself and I was helping her with my resources and with my team to help her manage her own career.
"So, I never really felt like, you know, I was making decisions for her.
“Ever since the beginning, you know, I asked her, like, what is it that you want to do? Because that's how I treated my career.
"More of dealings, resources, negotiations. Especially with the supporting staff, the team, you know, the Careless staff who I've been working with for years.
"Actually, a lot of them are my friends, I've known for a long time. So, yeah, really on the support and resources."
JAMES' MESSAGES FOR LIZA
Napaaga man ang pag-alis ni Liza sa kanyang poder, masaya at proud daw si James sa narating at mararating pa ng aktres.
Malaki raw ang tiwala ni James kay Liza kaya't anuman ang piliin nito ay susuportahan daw niya.
Kung magkataon din daw na bumalik si Liza sa bansa ay nakahanda raw ang Careless Music na muli siyang tanggapin, hindi lang bilang talent kundi kanilang pamilya.
Sabi ni James: "We’ve been clear from the start [with Liza] that we try our best and we hope that it works out.
"We’re very grateful and proud of her that she lucked in with her first film, and it’s a great starting point. We hope that great things will come from there.
