Sinagot na ni Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte ang isyung ibinabato sa kanilang pamilya.
Naging sentro ng bashing si Luigi at ang kanyang amang si Camarines Sur Congressman LRay Villafuerte matapos umalma ang ilang netizens na naghahanap sa kanila nang magsimulang mananalasa ang bagyong Kristine sa kanilang lalawigan.
Kumalat ang balitang nasa Siargao Island umano ang mag-amang Villafuerte, kasama ang girlfriend ni Luigi na si Yassi Pressman, ilang kaanak at kaibigan, pati na ang SK officials ng kanilang lalawigan.
Dahil dito, kaliwa't kanan ang batikos sa kanila.

Sa kanyang Facebook post nitong Huwebes ng gabi, October 24, 2024, nag-upload si Luigi ng resibo o patunay na nakabalik na umano sila sa Maynila ilang araw bago manalasa ang bagyong Kristine.
Ibinahagi niya ang screenshot ng kanyang boarding pass pabalik ng Manila mula sa Siargao.
Nakalagay ritong 12:05 p.m. ng Lunes, October 21, 2024, ang kanilang flight pabalik ng Maynila.
Ayon sa gobernador, nakabalik na sila noong Lunes pa lamang mula sa tinatawag niyang "tourism benchmarking" kasama ang SK officials ng kanilang lalawigan.
Aniya, "I would like to address the malicious rumor being peddled against me and my family. We started our tourism benchmarking with CamSur SK officials in Siargao on Saturday, October 19.
"We were already back from Siargao on Monday, October 21, contrary to what is being said that yesterday we were in Siargao and got stuck there. This is FAKE NEWS."
Pagdating daw nila sa kanilang bayan ay nagsagawa kaagad sila ng "evacuation, rescue missions, and relief operations."
"Since Monday, we have been conducting evacuation, rescue missions, and relief operations. We will make sure to reach out to more areas affected by heavy flooding the moment the water subsides enough for our rescuers’ safety as well.
"Now more than ever, everyone should focus on relief and recovery for CamSur, Bicol region, and the rest of the country affected by Typhoon Kristine.
"Here is my boarding pass for proof. This settles the issue. Thank you and God bless us all."

GOVERNOR VILLAFUERTE UPDATES HIS CONSTITUENTS
Nitong Huwebes lamang nag-update si Governor Villafuerte sa kanyang constituents sa mga ginagawa umano niya at ng kanyang team para sa mga nasalanta sa kanilang lalawigan.
Ayon sa post niya sa Instagram kahapon din, "Organizing transport of goods and setting up ropes and bamboo boats for stranded passengers from San Fernando to other parts of the Province.
"We are at a state of calamity and need any assistance that can be given. Preferably rubber boats, potable water, & canned goods.
"I thank the uniformed personnel of the National Government, emergency response groups of LGU’s for their service & saving many lives. Mabuhay kamo. I also commend members of the community that gave a helping hand.
"Rest assured, we are on the ground doing everything we are capable of. We are all working together as one province, one community, & one country to overcome this calamity."

NETIZEN QUESTIONS HIS POST
Inalmahan naman ng isang netizen ang post ni Luigi.
Dapat daw ay noong araw pa lang na nasa Siargao sila ay nag-mobilize na ito ng mga hakbang at gagawin para sa probinsiya.
May babala na raw kasi noon sa pagtama ng bagyo sa Camarines Sur.
Sabi ng netizen sa mahaba niyang post: "October 21 ka lang nagsimulang maghanda, Governor? By the time you were back from your 'tourism benchmarking' getaway with the SK officials in Siargao, Kristine had already been identified as a threat to CamSur.
"Napakabagal niyo naman kumilos! PAGASA had issued warnings that Camarines Sur was about to be hit by heavy to intense rains, but instead of preparing beforehand, nasa bakasyon pa rin kayo. Hindi ba dapat noong Sabado pa lang, October 19, habang kayo'y nagpapakasarap sa Siargao, nagkukumahog na kayong maghanda para sa paparating na bagyo?
"PAGASA already warned that floods and landslides were highly likely in your province. Akala mo ba na ang pagpapakita ng boarding pass mo ay makakalimutan ng tao na tinakasan mo ang responsibilidad mo? Instead of enjoying the beach, you should have been mobilizing resources days before to ensure the safety of your people. Ano ang nangyari sa mga taong nagtitiis sa baha noong wala kayo?
"CamSur deserves leaders who proactively prepare, not ones who scramble to act only when the situation becomes dire. Yumaman ba ang CamSur sa tagal niyo sa posisyon? Hindi, ang yumaman lang ay kayo! After 40 years of Villafuerte control, where is the progress? Where is the true disaster preparedness that your dynasty should have implemented long ago? Your "boarding pass" doesn’t erase the fact that you weren’t there when CamSur needed you most. Ang mga nasalanta ng bagyo ay hindi matutulungan ng boarding pass mo, Luigi.
"And let’s be real—fake news ka diyan, pero ang totoo, nagkulang ka. You and your family have had decades to prove yourselves, and yet CamSur continues to suffer from the same problems: floods, underdevelopment, and lack of resources. Panahon na para sa totoong liderato—not dynasties who only care when their public image is at stake. Ang kailangan ng CamSur ay mga lider na nandyan sa oras ng pangangailangan, hindi yung nagpapahinga sa beach habang may unos!
"CamSur deserves more than pa-photo op, pa-press release, at pa-boarding pass leaders. No more Villafuerte dynasties. CamSur deserves real, proactive leadership—something that clearly wasn’t delivered."
