Santino Rosales and Janine Gutierrez exchanged warm pleasantries during a star-studded night at Marriott Manila, offering a rare and real-life glimpse into their evolving dynamic.
The brief run-in took place at the 11th Marry Me at Marriott showcase on July 3, 2025, where both were in attendance for the landmark celebration of event stylist Gideon Hermosa’s 15th year in the wedding industry.
As Santino approached Janine inside the Grand Ballroom, the actress immediately lit up, greeting him with an enthusiastic, high-pitched “Hi!” and stepping in for a quick cheek-to-cheek beso.
Janine wore a chocolate-colored evening gown with a high neckline, gathered ruched detailing across the bodice, and soft draped sleeves.
She paired it with a small black clutch and wore her hair neatly slicked back behind the ears.
Santino, on the other hand, kept it timeless in a crisp white button-down shirt, dark tailored trousers, and eyeglasses
After their greetings, Santino can then be heard asking, “Is my dad here?” to which Janine calmly replied, “No, no,” with a light, knowing smile.
Santino is Jericho’s son with his former partner, Kai Palomares.

SANTINO AS A SUPPORTIVE SON FROM THE START
This encounter wasn’t the first sign of harmony between Santino and Janine.
In October 2024, Jericho greeted Janine on Instagram for her birthday, calling her his “museum/tabing-ilog date” and sharing moments from their National Museum visit back in July.
Among the comments was Santino’s.
He left a heart hands emoji, which many saw as a quiet show of approval towards his dad's new relationship.
Janine later responded to Jericho’s post with “im so happy thankyouuuuuu” followed by three red hearts.
Jericho and Janine first sparked dating rumors after their museum date in July 2024, which was followed by sightings at Diego Gutierrez’s single launch and Pilita Corrales’ intimate birthday celebration.
By late July, Jericho confirmed they were dating and were still “getting to know” each other.
He made the relationship official in April 2025, simply stating: “I’m Janine’s boyfriend.”
Since then, the two have kept their relationship low-key but steady, showing up for each other in both public and private moments.
