NICO LOCCO'S CANADIAN FILM
Panimula niya: “It's called The World Treated Me Kindly. Yeah, it's a feature film with a full Canadian cast, kasi part-Canadian ako.
"Hindi ako Canadian, pero meron akong Canadian passport.”
Italyano ang 29-year-old actor.
“Yeah, pure Italian. Well, actually, I say that I'm pure Italian, pero yung mom ko has a little bit of Filipino blood, half-Filipino siya.”
Dugtong niya tungkol sa film, "The female is Sierra Farnham. She's a Canadian actress, sobrang magaling."

NICO LOCCO DETAILS TEDIOUS AUDITION
Paano siya nakasali sa project?
"Nag-audition ako. It's a pure Canadian production. Nag-self-tape ako dito sa Pinas, so sinend ko yung audition ko sa kanila.
"And then, kasi iba sa ibang bansa, e, it's very higpit, e. They have ang daming steps."
"So, nag-self-tape na parang general for everyone, tapos I had to do another self-tape na parang shortlist.
"And then, once na-shortlist ako after that, nag-Zoom ako with the director.
“So one-on-one with the director at si Sierra, kasama siya. So parang scene work, Zoom to Zoom, and then, parang it's very regimented.
“Not like here in the Philippines, where one audition, you have the role na, di ba?
"Especially sa U.S. or Canada, you have to Zoom.
“Tapos the director will give you a direction para makita nila if okay ka sa mga directions nila, kasi, siyempre, hindi mo nakita yung buong script, right?
“Certain scenes lang, so yun, nag-Zoom audition.
“Ang haba ng process. Siguro it was a four-month process kasi big budget yung film.
“So we shot, we just finished shooting, I was there for 17 days...so we started January.”
Tapos na raw ang ang shooting for the film last April.
“It will be shown later this year, and then, they're hoping to put it on W Network, it's called sa Canada, streaming network sa Canada, at Netflix sana.”
Walang Tagalog, international talaga.”
Mula ito sa Union Films ang pelikula at sa direksiyon ni Nikka Deliana, na ayon kay Nico ay isang "very established director in Canada; she's part of the Director's Guild.”

NICO LOCCO ON THE CANADIAN FILM'S STORYLINE
CEO playboy ang kanyang karakter.
“So, it's about a... okay, how do I explain this?
"In a simple way, ako, I'm a rich businessman. I own a very big company, sobrang mayaman ako.
“My name is Brian Sage, so super rich. I have a company, I have everything and ang daming failed relationships sa past ko, as in like lahat ng pili ko, also rich, kasi taas na yung standards ko."
"And then, one night, lumabas kami ng bodyguard, meron akong bodyguard, and we're really good friends in the movie.
“So we went out for a drink, that was...it just so happened that night, dun sa bar, there was this girl being parang harassed sa alleyway.
“So, nakita ko siya sa alleyway na being harassed, so being a nobleman, knight in shining armor, pumunta kami ng bodyguard ko to help her.
"So na-meet ko siya and then…so, anyways, we saved her. Yung mga guys, umalis sila because I'm very powerful, medyo parang feared ako sa area.
"So, it started the romance."
“I won't ruin the story how it goes, pero that's sort of the basis of it. Romantic drama.”
Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Nico noong July 5, 2025, sa Tap Station sa Bonifacio Global City.
