CAMILLE CO SAYS BROADSHEET POST IS DAMAGING
"Camille Co is spotted amid influencers' nepo baby issue."
Pahayag ni Camille sa kanyang caption (published as is): "since when have I been a nepo baby? You have falsely identified me as one of the nepo babies involved in flood control corruption.
"This is factually incorrect, damaging to my reputation and harmful to me and my family's safety.
"I demand an immediate retraction and removal of this false statement from ALL your platforms. Responsible journalism requires verifying facts before publishing.
"Please correct the record without delay. This is LIBEL."

Sabi niya sa isang post: "You have falsely identified me as one of the nepo babies involved in flood control.
"This is factually incorrect, damaging to my reputation and harmful to me & my family's safety.
"I demand an immediate retraction & removal of this false statement from ALL your platforms. This is LIBEL"
BROADSHEET APOLOGIZES, BUT...

Saad niya: "They posted a public apology and then deleted it. (We have screenshots.) Then they decided to edit the original post only instead.
"And to cap it off, they’re now gaslighting people into thinking it was the netizens who took their original caption wrongly."
Kasunod niya pang mensahe: "Clearly covering their asses. I’m sorry I wasn’t born yesterday and have brains. I see you and I know what you’re doing."

camille says she's not milking the issue
Mensahe niya: "It may have seemed funny at first but these past few days have been so stressful.
"I've been dragged into this mess so unfairly-not just with the mistaken identity but also asking me to be accountable for people I have zero control over."
Saad ni Camille: "I have been in this industry for 15 years. FIFTEEN LONG YEARS to build my career and get to where I am now.
"FIFTEEN YEARS of building my reputation. I didn't know anyone in this industry. I started from zero.
"Never clinged to anyone for fame or clout despite various opportunities to do so.
"Never tried to climb the social ladder. Never even click baited you.
"Because I'm that adverse to fakery and infamy.
"So no, I'm not milking this (I've said no TV interviews about this even) nor do I want to take the spotlight and put it on me.
"Lord knows how anxious I get when I see my posts becoming viral because this means they'll soon reach people I don't normally reach-people outside my target demographic who honestly scare me.
"I like working diligently and quietly in my own way."
Sabi pa niya: "Trust me. No one wants me to stop having to address this issue publicly over and over again more than me.
"I just want to go back to working like how I used to because content creation is my bread and butter. This is what I do for my family.
"It may be just a side hustle for some, a way to flaunt their lifestyle or gain fame but not for me.
"This is how I pay for our house, food, staff, my kids' education, everything.
"This is my livelihood. And my livelihood is so closely tied to MY NAME AND REPUTATION."
"And to those telling me to change my last name na lang to my husband's.
"I know you mean well but why? Why will I allow these people to take away my name that I worked so hard to build and protect?
"I refuse to let them take my name from me. But thank you for reaching out."
"Thank you to all my friends and even strangers for sending me heartwarming messages of support and most of all, helping me clear my name on these posts. You don't have to but you do. So thank you."
