Una mang sinubukan ang pag-arte, kalaunan ay napagtanto ni DJ Jimmy Nocon na ang puso niya ay nasa pagiging isang DJ.
Sa ngayon ay kinikilala bilang isang celebrity DJ, tumatak ang kanyang live performances na mas umaangat dahil sa kanyang paggamit ng music instruments gaya ng saxophone at drums.
Sa pakikipagpalitan ng mensahe ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay DJ Jimmy, sinabi niyang excited siya sa nalalapit niyang performance sa pagbubukas ng pinakamalaking Filipino club sa Dubai ngayong Nobyembre.
"Of course, it feels so heartwarming to be chosen and be invited to perform in Dubai, especially at the biggest Filipino club, which is in the Grand Central Hotel.
"I’m really honored that they want to experience The DJ Jimmy Nocon Experience live in Dubai. They’ve heard about the impact, charisma, and energy I bring to every crowd, so I’m really excited to show them what makes my set special," sabi ni DJ Jimmy.
THANKFUL TO CALLUM DAVID
Paano nga ba siya napasok sa pagdi-DJ?
"Ever since I was young, I’ve always seen myself as a performer. I used to do theater, so I’ve always been comfortable being on stage and expressing creativity through performance.
"Being on stage taught me how to connect with people, which I later carried into DJing.
"At first, I played in small clubs around Makati, just enjoying the vibe and learning how to read the crowd.
"Eventually, people started noticing me and my music. That’s when my mentor, Callum, and a few corporate event organizers discovered me, and things really started to take off from there."

"I’m also very grateful to Kiko Moldero, Jasmine Recaña, and Ruth Orpano because they were among the first people who believed in me and supported me when I was just starting out.
"Their trust really motivated me to keep improving and to always give my best in every performance."

"I actually started in a reality show on GMA, and later on, I moved to ABS-CBN where I became part of a few teleseryes and several TV commercials.
"I really enjoyed every part of that journey as an actor, but the feeling I get when performing live as a DJ is just different.
"There’s something special about seeing people’s reactions in real time—the energy, the smiles, the dancing.
"On TV, you don’t get to see that instant connection. That’s why I enjoy DJing more because it’s more personal and fulfilling to make people happy right in front of you."
Sa dami na rin ng mga kilalang DJs sa ngayon, ano ba ang masasabi niyang edge o lamang niya?
"I think my edge as a DJ is my creativity and how I connect with the crowd. I always try to innovate and level up my sets.
"I actually started by adding live elements like electric drums to make my performances more exciting, then later on I began incorporating intro visuals, which eventually evolved into full-3D cinematic intros.
"Over time, I also started bringing in a saxophone, and sometimes even electrofire dancers and drummers.
"I don’t just play music; I create a full experience. Every set I do feels like a show, with interaction, surprises, and energy that keeps people engaged from start to finish.
"That’s what makes 'The DJ Jimmy Nocon Experience' different because it’s not just about playing music, it’s about creating moments people will remember."

Para kay Dj Jimmy, isa ito sa pinaka memorable niyang experience bilang isang performer.
"That moment was really memorable for me because I was trusted and given a slot in Sarah’s 20th concert in Smart Araneta Coliseum as a guest performer.
"Direk Paolo Valenciano even gave me around 10 minutes to do my own thing, which is my full DJ Jimmy Nocon Experience set.
"The crowd’s reaction gave me literal goosebumps; everyone was so hyped, and the energy was unreal.
"It was also my first time working with Sarah G, and what’s amazing is that since then, I’ve already performed with her around five times in different shows and provinces.
"I felt really honored to share the stage with the Pop Princess herself."
Sa ngayon ipinagpapasalamat ni DJ Jimmy na marami sa kanyang hinahangaang local artists kanyang nakaka-collaborate o nakakasama sa entablado.
"It’s just really amazing because before, I used to dream of collaborating with artists like Gary V, SB19, and KZ Tandingan.

"Those dreams came true when I became a regular guest on ASAP Natin ‘To, where I got to perform with some of the biggest names I used to just look up to.

Isa si DJ Jimmy sa performers sa nakaraang Riyadh Season Concert 2024 na ginanap sa Saudi Arabia.

Ang Riyadh Season ay ang taunang series ng entertainment, cultural, at sporting events na ginaganap sa Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, mula October hanggang March. Nagsimula ito nung 2019 bilang paghahanda sa gaganaping Saudi Vision 2030 na initiative ni Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Sa loob ng limang buwan, iba-ibang events ang ginanap na binibisita ng local at foreign tourists.
Kabilang sa entertainment events ang concert na pinag-perform-an ni DJ Jimmy.
Nakisaya, nakikanta, at pinalakpakan nang husto si DJ Jimmy ng mga nanood sa concert, na may malaking bilang ng OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers).

Matapos ang performance niyang ito sa Riyadh, ang pangarap naman daw ni DJ Jimmy ay makapag-perform sa Tomorrowland sa Australia.
Nagsimula sa Antwerp, Belgium, nakatakdang magkaroon din ng Tomorrowland concert sa Australia sa November 2026.
"My next goal is to perform at Tomorrowland. I want to showcase The DJ Jimmy Nocon experience on the world's biggest stage with live mixing, sax, drums, and everything that makes my set unique."
