Sandro Muhlach became the first Filipino celebrity to conquer the highest bungee jumping facility in the world.

Hindi inurungan ng controversial actor na si Sandro Muhlach ang pagtalon sa Macau Tower kunsaan naroon ang famous bungee jump ng Skypark Macau.

Sa Facebook pinost noong December 11, 2025, ng 24-year-old Sparkle artist ang isang video kunsaan makikitang naghahanda ito sa pagtalon sa 233 meters (764 feet) extreme free fall ng tower.

Tinanong pa ang panganay na anak ni Niño Muhlach ng kumukuha ng video kung taga-saang bansa siya at proud niyang isinigaw na “Philippines!”

Na-capture ng camera na hawak ni Sandro ang pagtalon niya at ang kanyang reaksyon habang mabilis siyang bumubulusok pababa sa bilis na 200 km/h or 124 mph.

Noong makababa na siya ng tower ay ramdam pa rin ng aktor ang adrenaline rush sa buong katawan niya at parang gusto pa niyang umulit na tumalon.

the first Filipino celebrity to ever do it

Si Sandro pa lang ang kauna-unahang recorded na Filipino celebrity na sumubok na tumalon sa Macau Tower bungee jump.

Dahil dito, hawak na nito ang world record for the highest commercial bungee jump, conquering the 764-foot (232.82m) freefall.

Ilang international celebrities na ang ang nag-bungee jump sa tower tulad ni Jack Osborne para sa kanyang series na Jack Osborne: Adrenaline Junkie in 2007.

Ang pumanaw na American chef and author na si Anthony Bourdain ay tumalon din sa tower para sa isang episode ng kanyang cooking show na Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations in 2011.

Nagamit din ang tower para sa ilang reality competition shows tulad ng Up Idol Season 2, America’s Next Top Model Cycle 18: British Invasion, An Idiot Abroad 3, Running Man, Amazing Race All-Stars, Amazing Race Canada 2, at Amazing Race Asia 3.

Sabi pa sa website: "They have guide cables and airbags for safety, alongside alternatives like the controlled Skyjump and thrilling Skywalk.

"The tower officially opened on December 19, 2001, and measures 338 m (1,109 ft) in height from ground level to the highest point.

"The jump is an iconic adrenaline rush, providing stunning views before a 4-5 second freefall before rebound, with packages including photos, videos, and souvenirs for a memorable experience."

Ginagamit ang tower routinely sa staged bungee jumping events by professional jumpers o bilang bahagi ng entertainment shows.

Nung December 17, 2006, dalawang Guinness World Records ang na-break ng itinuturing na "Father of Contemporary Bungee Jumping" na si AJ Hackett at ng artist na si Edison Chen.

Na-break ni Hackett, ang sarili niyang Guinness World Record of "The Highest Bungee Jump from a Building" achieved in 1987 from the Eiffel Tower (330 m).

Samantalang si Chen represented Macau Tower in the inaugural jump to bid for "The World's Highest Bungee Jump Facility."
