AC Bonifacio is single.
The Kapamilya actress and dancer made the admission on March 20, 2026, on the Painfully Human Podcast hosted by Edward Barber.
AC’s revelation came as she and Edward reflected on how close they’ve become over the years.
What started as a professional relationship eventually grew into a genuine friendship, with Edward turning into one of the people she trusts most.
He is someone she knows she can call whenever she needs someone to listen.
AC shared how Edward was especially present during one of the more difficult periods in her life.
“You came up, and you asked for advice about a specific dude. I remember trying, really thinking about how to give you advice when I have zero experience of my own. That was genuinely my first-ever ‘kuya moment.’ I felt protective,” Edward told AC.
Over time, Edward grew into a steady source of support, particularly during her moments of heartbreak, providing a listening ear for AC to open up.
AC'S SPLIT WITH HARVEY BAUTISTA
During the conversation, AC recalled a time when she set aside dating because of trust issues from a previous relationship, which she described as "very traumatizing."
She added that she’s once again out of the dating scene, quietly hinting at her split from Harvey Bautista.
“That is the first time I’m saying that anywhere...You heard here first," said AC.
However, she refrained from disclosing the reasons behind the separation.
Edward acknowledged how challenging the situation had been for AC.
He remembered an emotional AC calling him on the phone, describing it as a moment that showed her maturity as a person.
“Hands down. I’ve seen you do amazing things. I’ve seen you dance, and I’ve seen you perform. It's the proudest moment I’ve ever had with you," said Edward.
"It was because of the maturity of how you handled making your own decisions."
AC agreed that the experience had been difficult, admitting she had been crying during that conversation.
Still, both emphasized that Edward’s role was to listen and offer support, allowing her to figure things out on her own.
“I think that’s one of your greatest ‘kuya moment’ also with me, too,” AC said to Edward.

AC's relationship with Harvey was brought to light in March 2025 during her stint on the hit reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
She then revealed that they had been together for a year.
Apparently, one of the housemates, Bianca de Vera, was Harvey's ex-girlfriend.
Bianca described Harvey as her TOTGA (The One That Got Away), which did not sit well with AC.
But a heart-to-heart talk cleared the air between the two ladies.
Meanwhile, in April 2025, Harvey grew uneasy about AC’s closeness to fellow PBB housemate Michael Sager, especially as some viewers began pairing them together.
“The tags, the shipping, the comments, it can get to you. When you are not able to communicate, [yung] iba mabe-believe," AC told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press.
"But he [Harvey] is okay, he realized after we talked about it, ‘Sorry, ang OA ko pala.’ May factor nagselos. Ako din naman nagseselos, pero communication—communication fixes everything."
AC then said that despite the jealousy, her PBB stint actually helped make their relationship stronger.
"As in okay na okay kami. Nagulat ako when people go up to me, di ko alam naging issue sa labas.
"Me and Harvey are totally good. If anything, we have gotten stronger.
"The time apart and time not having communication made us stronger individually.
"Now we are back together, we are so much stronger."
AC Bonifacio maintained that she never hid the fact that she was in a relationship at the time, emphasizing that her connection with Michael was purely platonic, just like her friendship with singer Darren Espanto.
"I clarified so many times I have Harvey. May jowa ako," stressed AC.
"Me and Michael, I would tell him all the time, you are like Darren, my Canadian buddy.
"Iba kasi feeling if connected to home, I know the things I say— he [Michael] won’t take it in a different way.
"He made me feel like home. We are both from Vancouver.
"Harvey understood that, and we have been good since then."
