Kung susuriing mabuti ang mga balitang lumabas sa hiwalayan nina Enrique Gil at Liza Soberano, halos apat na taon na palang break ang dalawa.
Ayon sa ulat ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), naghiwalay ang ex-couple noon pang October 2022.
Umabot sa halos walong taon ang relasyon nila na nagsimula noong 2014.
Kaya naman matagal-tagal na ring single ang actor-producer ng TV5's A Secret in Prague na si Enrique.

ENRIQUE GIL: "I never close myself out to anything"
Sa exclusive Real Talk interview ni Enrique para sa PEP.ph YouTube channel, inusisa namin ang lagay ng kanyang puso.
Ayon kay Enrique: "Okay na man po. Ah, well, I'm really busy with work.
"And yung buhay ko ngayon, puro work, work, work.
"But you know, I'm an open book, you know, so I'm always open to... I never close myself out to anything.
"I think I have... I closed myself out for a couple of years.
"And then eventually, sabi ko, 'I think it's time to, you know, open that book.' So, yun."
"Secret" lang ang sagot ng aktor sa tanong kung single siya ngayon.
Ano ba ang "greatest lesson" na natutunan niya sa pag-ibig?
Saad ni Enrique: "Greatest lesson? Actually mahirap yan, e. Super hirap po niyan.
"I just think, as a total, everything, it just makes me grow.
"And everything that you go through in life just makes you a better person.
"It makes you grow. It makes you learn."
Pero natitiyak daw ni Enrique na naging mabuting tao siya dahil sa mga natutunan niya sa pag-ibig.
"Ah, but specifically, it's too complex to mention one, but I can say is, I'm a much, much better person now.
"You know, you grow, you live, you learn, you love, and you just continue to love again.
"And you know, and it's not always the end. It's not always the end.
"It might seem like the end at times, but as long as God is with you, He will always veer you to the right direction, as long as you're with Him.
"And you know, I'm never closing anything. But yun, that's the state where I am now.
"Just keep moving forward. There's nothing else to do kaysa umatras. Kailangan [pasulong] tayo."

ENRIQUE GIL AND HIS IDEAL GIRL
So, is he taking his time before dating someone again?
Sagot ni Enrique, "Ah, I guess so. I guess so.
"Before, it was maybe the same. Oo, nga naman. Ganun din naman talaga ako. Yeah."
Matagal ba siyang mamili ng babaeng ide-date o mamahalin?
Paglilinaw niya: "More than time, I didn't have much time then because I was always busy from the get-go.
"Started 16 years old, nagtrabaho na po ako, e, so buhay ko talaga was always in, you know, in the showbiz world.
"So yeah, parang it was always secondary to me. Yung time na yun, ha, yung thinking about dating and stuff, yeah."
Siya ba yung type na nadi-develop o nala-love at first sight agad?
Ayon kay Enrique:, "It depends. I think it grows, it grows.
"Simple, when you see someone, parang, 'Uy.' Pero di kaagad love yun, e.
"Hindi ko masasabing love at first sight. But definitely, when you get to know the person more, that's when I... doon, doon kami.
"Kasi yung love, love mo sa looks, e. Ako, sa tao talaga, e.
"It's the soul. I think the personality."

Ano ba ang mga katangiang hinahanap niya sa isang babae?
Diretsong pag-e-enumerate ni Enrique: "Mabait. Masaya lang kasama.
"Mabait, masaya kasama, and someone who's understanding at maalaga. Ganun lang po.
"Basta hindi masyado maarte. Yun lang po. Ayaw ko ng maarte."
