Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Kapuso multi-awarded actress Therese Malvar, 25, who is now engaged to her boyfriend, director-writer Jaime Morados.
Therese announced her engagement through Instagram on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, sharing photos from the proposal.
“I have found the one whom my soul loves - (Song of Solomon 3:4).
“Every single day, it's a yes. @jaimemorados,” Therese wrote in the caption.


Meanwhile, Jaime posted a cinematic video capturing their candid moments—from enjoying a midnight snack at a fast-food restaurant and going on a late-night drive to giving followers a glimpse of the romantic proposal.
The intimate engagement featured guitarists playing music as the couple celebrated with their family and close friends.
“Thank you, Lord, for my soon-to-be wife,” Jaime captioned his post.

The announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities and fans.
Among those who sent their well wishes were Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, Rita Daniela, Elijah Alejo, Ashley Sarmiento, Karylle, Thea Tolentino, Rodjun Cruz, and Iza Calzado.
At this writing, neither Therese nor Jaime has announced their wedding date.

THERESE AND JAIME'S LOVE STORY
According to a report by GMA News, Therese and Jaime first met while they were film students at MINT College.
Since then, the couple has collaborated on several projects, including the short film Ang Pagliligtas sa Dalagang Bukid and They Made Monsters, which was directed by Jaime.

Therese made her acting debut at the age of 13 in the critically acclaimed indie film Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita (2013), opposite Angel Aquino.
For her performance, she won the Best Actress award at the 2014 Cinema One Originals Film Festival, becoming the youngest recipient of the honor at the time.

She also won the Best Actress award for her performance in the indie film Hamog (2015) at the 15th New York Asian Film Festival and the 38th Moscow International Film Festival.
