Thai actor Joss Way-ar watched one of Janella Salvador’s films and expressed interest in working with the Filipina actress in the future.
"I was fortunate enough to be in the movie premiere of Under Parallel Skies by our friend Metawin [Win Metawin].
"I believe her name was Janella.
"I really loved their chemistry and I really hope that we have a chance to work together.
"Obviously, it's a pretty good movie and hopefully in the next upcoming project, we get to work together like that again."
Under Parallel Skies is a romance drama movie released on Netflix in October 2024.
It starred Metawin as a Thai bachelor who traveled to Hong Kong to search for his missing mother. He met a Filipino hotel receptionist named Iris (played by Janella) and they develop a deep connection with each other.

Joss Way-ar's brief visit to Manila
Joss served as the captain of Team GMMTV (Thailand) when they competed in the Star Magic All Star Games 2026 held yesterday, August 24, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Thai actors from GMMTV visited the Philippines to play a basketball game against Team Star Magic.
His basketball teammates were fellow GMMTV actors Neo Trai, twins AJ and JJ Jutamas, Gawin Caskey, Ryu Phudtripart, Aston Chang, Marc Natarit, Ping Krittanun, and Teshow Promsaka Na Sakolnakorn.
Team Star Magic (Philippines) was led by captain/playing coach Gerald Anderson, alongside Ronnie Alonte, Jeremiah Lisbo, JM Ibarra, Emilio Daez, River Joseph, Young JV, Tristan Ramirez, Argel Saycon, Ashton Salvador, and Elyson De Dios.

Joss receives a lot of thirst comments from fans that are sometimes too explicit.
Do they bother or distract him?
"No distraction, but it actually makes me smile if sometimes I read it," Joss answered with a smile.
