“She’s really resting, so don’t worry; this is for her own good.
"She's just really tired, and it's a good thing that she is resting. So that she's more, she's stronger when she comes back," Carla said.
When asked whether Sophia would return to KATSEYE, Carla admitted that she does not know when her daughter will be back.
“I will be very honest. I don’t ask her,” she said, explaining that she does not want Sophia to feel pressured about her return.
Instead, Carla said she simply focuses on supporting her daughter and asking what she needs.
"I know what she's thinking. So I let her be. I'm just being her mom, saying, 'What do you need? What can I do for you? How can I help?'
"I do that instead of saying, 'Huy, ano na ang nangyayari sa iyo? What's gonna happen after?' I don't do that.
“She needs to rest. She needs to take care of herself because she’s that intelligent na [sinasabi sa akin na], ‘Mom, my body needs to rest. My brain needs to rest.’ And she deserves that."
