After a successful debut season, LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines returns for a funnier second season.
With It's Showtime host Vice Ganda returning as host, the hit reality comedy competition brings together a new set of comedians from different generations and with different styles of Filipino comedy.

This season features Ethel Booba, Long Mejia, Epy Quizon, Pooh, Candy Pangilinan, Esnyr, Donna Cariaga, Chariz Solomon, James Caraan, and Charuth for an intense battle where only one rule matters: don't laugh.

Director Randolph Longjas teases exciting moments in upcoming season
Meanwhile, the returning show's director, Randolph Longjas, is looking forward to seeing the contestants' reactions and interactions in the upcoming season of the comedy show, particularly when they meet for the first time.
During PEP.ph's (Philippine Entertainment Portal) exclusive set visit on March 3, 2026, Direk Randolph shared the aspects of the show he was most excited to see unfold.
According to him, the contestants' previous connections with one another could also make their interactions more interesting.
He teased that some of them may have worked together on previous shows without knowing that they would eventually cross paths in the competition.
He said: "Actually, two things. One, I really love the energy of people coming in, and it's the first time they're seeing each other.
"It's really different, and it's really fun because the selection of the contestants, apart from the contrast, is their immersion and interaction that happened before.
"So yung iba, mga ka-show nila dati na hindi nila alam, puwedeng kapamilya, puwedeng ninong.
"Hindi natin alam. I cannot divulge everything.
"But I am very happy and very excited na makita yung reaction, but when they open the door, and they get to see who the contestants are."

The director also revealed that he was looking forward to seeing contestants struggle to keep themselves from laughing during the game.
"The second, I'm really looking forward sa mga nagpipigil ng tawa.
"Because for me, that's the content if you see them really suffering, trying to hold their laughter; it's something that I am really looking forward to.
"So I think the most interesting thing will be the contrast between the young ones and the old ones."
He noted that the contestants could have very different approaches to the games and performances, which could lead to entertaining interactions.
"Different way to handle the games, and even the performances; it's very different.
"So I'm very interested in how they're going to interact with each other."

Asked how confident he was that the new season would connect even more with audiences, he pointed to the Filipino audience's natural appreciation for comedy.
"Alam mo, for me, hindi mahirap patawanin ang mga Pilipino. And the fact that we have the best of the best comedians, best host, yun pa lang, confident na ako na bebenta talaga siya.
"So even for season one, I was really surprised na ang daming mga mini clips that were derived from the episodes," he said.
The second season is set to premiere on October 30, exclusively on Prime Video in the Philippines and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
