Former singer and Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) graduate Jay-R Siaboc marked his return on the ASAP stage yesterday, July 31.
He took part in "LSS: Love Songs and Stories," a segment that features real-life, unique love stories of people from different walks of life. Chosen ASAP singers would then sing a love song dedicated for the featured couple.
For his number last July 31, Jay-R performed a duet with his fellow PDA finalist and Grand Star Dreamer Yeng Constantino.

They performed the song "Himala", a song originally performed by Rivermaya. They dedicated this to a couple who remained married for 20 years after nearly getting separated from each other.

In 2008, Yeng and Jay-R actually did a revival of the said song, which was supposedly the theme song of Judy Ann Santos's delayed Nurserye Humingi Ako Sa Langit (aired in 2010 as Habang May Buhay, with a different storyline but the same set of characters).

Jay-R also sang together with singers Jolina Magdangal, Rico Blanco, Juris, and Rayver Cruz for that production number. At the end of the performance, the other singers hugged Jay-R.

Jay-R started as a singer after he joined the reality competition Pinoy Dream Academy. After finishing first runner-up to Yeng, he became a part of ASAP.
He was also given an opportunity to act in TV shows, particularly as Maja Salvador's love team partner in teleseryes Pangarap na Bituin (2007), Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara (2008), and Komiks presents Kapitan Boom (2008).
