Nadine Lustre concert to push through despite contempt of court

Bukas, July 3, mapapanood ang kauna-unahang online concert ni Nadine Lustre, ang Absolute Madness, sa pamamagitan ng Kumu Live.

Kung pagbabasehan ang pahayag ng kanyang legal counsel na si Atty. Lorna Kapunan, walang dahilan para hindi matuloy ang show ni Nadine sa kabila ng Cease and Desist Order ng Regional Trial Court of Quezon City.

Sa statement na ipinadala ni Atty. Kapunan sa PEP Troika noong June 23, sinabi nitong hindi pa final ang Cease and Desist Order ng Quezon City Regional Trial Court, na pinaboran ang Viva Artists Agency (VAA) sa kasong isinampa nito laban kay Nadine.

Pahayag ni Atty. Kapunan: “The Cease and Desist Order is not yet final—Nadine has 15 days from the issuance of the Resolution of the Court to file a Motion for Reconsideration.

“Viva also has to post a 500 thousand surety bond which we will also question as this is grossly insufficient to answer for whatever damages Nadine may suffer.”

Ang Careless Music Manila, ang label company na nilipatan ni Nadine nang magdesisyon itong iwanan ang VAA, ang producer ng Absolute Madness na mapapanood sa live streaming site na Kumu bukas.

Ang Careless Music Manila ay ang record label na itinatag ng ex-boyfriend ni Nadine na si James Reid at ng kaibigan nitong si Bret Jackson.

Pinadalhan ng sulat ng Reyno Tiu Domingo & Santos Law Offices—ang legal counsel ng VAA—si Nadine, ang Careless Music Manila, at ang Kumu.

Pinaalalahanan sila ng legal counsel ng VAA na kabilang sila sa mga pwedeng sampahan ng kasong contempt of court kapag itinuloy nila ang pagpapalabas sa Absolute Madness.

Ito ay dahil sa preliminary and mandatory injuction ng korte o court order.

“Cease and desist from performing acts under contracts entered into without the consent and participation of Viva” ang ipinag-utos ng Quezon City RTC kay Nadine, kaya direktang paglabag umano sa desisyon ng korte ang gagawin nila kapag itinuloy ang live streaming ng Absolute Madness bukas.

Pero tila wala nang atrasan ang live streaming ng online concert ni Nadine kung pagbabasehan ang posts sa official Instagram account ng actress-singer.
