Christian Bables on 'Broken Hearts' Trip': “I think we are all confident na maganda itong pelikula na nagawa namin. It’s about healing. It’s about letting yourself heal from the thing or person that holds you back from being happy. I think people can, somehow, relate and they can identify with the pain to each and every character in this film."

Kuwento niya sa Cabinet File, “I was in Bangkok. My management called me and people were tagging me in their congratulatory messages.

"So that’s when I learned that our humble film, is an official entry to the MMFF 2023.

“I am excited because again, we were able to be given a chance to join the festival.”

Sabi niya, “I just accepted the project because I saw the promise and potential of the story. And I wanted to work with my friend, Direk Lem Lorca, again.”

Nagkatrabaho sina Christian at Lem sa short film na A Love Story In The Time of HIV.

That’s a misconception.

“Ang magandang pelikula ay nabubuo with collective effort and passion. Bawat isa may ambag, mula sa staff, crew, director, actors at hanggang sa producers.

“I think we are all confident na maganda itong pelikula na nagawa namin.

“It’s about healing. It’s about letting yourself heal from the thing or person that holds you back from being happy.

“I think people can, somehow, relate and they can identify with the pain to each and every character in this film.

“We hope to make our audience realize the importance of self- love, and the importance of making peace with yourself.

"The movie also features the beautiful hidden spots of our country, kung saan nakakapag-promote tayo ng Philippine tourism while entertaining our moviegoers.”
