Nagdadalamhati ang aktor na si David Licauco at ang pamilya nito dahil sa pagpanaw ng kanyang lolo na si Jaime Licauco.
Binawian ng buhay si Jaime sa edad na 84.
Ang ama ni David na si Jolan Alexander ang isa sa tatlong anak ni Jaime at ng misis niyang si Yolanda Campos.
Kinumpirma ni David ang pagkamatay ng kanyang lolo sa pamamagitan ng isang Facebook post ngayong Sabado, Mayo 17, 2025.
Aniya (published as is): "The wisest man I knew—always chasing greatness, always sharing his wisdom.
"Thank you for the life talks, the lessons, the power of your mind.
"I’ll hold them close, always. Rest easy lolo."
Samantala, sina Francine Prieto at Rannie Raymundo ang dalawa sa mga entertainment personalities na nagbahagi ng kalungkutan dahil sa pagkawala ni Licauco.
Saad ni Rannie (published as is): "Until we meet again my old friend!
"Jaime Licauco, you have been such a wonderful and friend all these years 'lifetimes' we have been together.
"We had many adventures together worthy of materials for volumes of books! Rest now!”
Ang pagbibigay-pugay naman ni Francine sa internationally known lecturer at hypnotherapist: "His contributions as a parapsychologist in the Philippines touched many lives and opened minds.May he rest in peace."
