"Denied" ang Motion for Reconsideration with Motion to Inhibit na inihain ng kampo ni Deniece Cornejo kaugnay sa bail grant kay Vhong Navarro.
Napabalita kamakailan na gusto ng kampo ni Deniece na ilipat ng korte ang kasong rape na isinampa nila laban sa aktor. Gusto nilang baligtarin ang desisyong pagpayag na makapag-bail si Vhong sa kasong rape.

Ngayong Huwebes, January 12, 2023, inilabas ng Taguig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) ang desisyon nito sa mosyon ng kampo ni Deniece.
Ayon sa Taguig City RTC, ibinasura ang motion "for lack of merit."
Bahagi ng nakasaad sa Order: “The public prosecutor’s conformity to the Motion to Reconsider is necessary...
“When the public prosecutor does not give his or her conformity to the pleading of a party, the party does not have the required legal personality to pursue the case.”
Ang Order ay pirmado ni Presiding Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan.
Nagbigay naman ng pahayag ang isa sa legal counsels ni Vhong na si Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque tungkol sa bagong development ng kaso sa nakaraang panayam ng PEP Troika.
Pahayag ni Atty. Maggie, “The reason why the motion was denied is because the motion lacks the conformity of the public prosecutor.
“As I mentioned before, this is basic procedural requirement to all pleadings to be submitted by the prosecution.”
Kaagad daw niyang ipinadala sa Viber ni Vhong ang desisyon ng korte kaya tumawag ang TV host-comedian sa kanya.
“He was very happy,” pakli ni Atty. Maggie nang tinanong namin kung ano ang naging reaksion ni Vhong.
“He said, ‘Thanks God.’ He said, he will never stop thanking God.”

Nang isinumite ang Motion nung nakaraang buwan, nakitaan daw nila ng pagkabahala si Vhong. Pero sinabihan daw nila itong huwag mag-alala dahil nakitaan nila ng butas ang Motion.
Pinapayuhan daw ni Atty. Maggie si Vhong na ipagpatuloy lang ang panalangin.
Sabi niya, “Nagtatanong siya noon kung ano ang puwedeng mangyari. But yun, we assured naman him that we will oppose that motion.
“Let us still trust the proceedings, and of course the prayers will always be there. Lahat naman kasi to, even the wisdom of the counsels came from sa Itaas… sa Diyos.
“I was telling him to always pray first for the wisdom that His glorious will be given the correct wisdom to be able to answer all the allegations. So that we can defend him properly. So, tiwala lang talaga sa Diyos.”
