Kinuwestiyon kung alin ang pangalawa, pangatlo, pang-apat, at kulelat.
Tuloy, nagtanung-tanong pa kami sa ibang showbiz insiders na nakakaalam sa resulta ng box-office.
UNOFFICIAL BOX-OFFICE GROSS: MMFF 2025 Day 2
Tama naman na naka-PHP49M ang first day gross ng Call Me Mother nina Vice Ganda, Nadine Lustre, at Lucas Andalio noong Disyembre 25, 2025, Huwebes.
Sa pangalawang araw, ito pa rin ang nangunguna.
Pero malaki ang ibinaba nito.
Ayon sa aming reliable sources, naka-PHP29M na lang ang Call Me Mother nitong Disyembre 26, Biyernes.
Actually, lahat ng MMFF 2025 official entries ay bumagsak ang sales sa pangalawang araw. Marahil ay dahil pasukan ulit.
Pero merong pelikula na wagas ang lagapak sa box-office.

Pangalawa pa rin ang Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins, na naka-PHP25M daw sa unang araw, pero meron ding nagsasabing PHP20M.
Sa second day nito ay mahigit PHP10M ang hinamig nito. Okay pa rin yun sa totoo lang!
Pangatlo pa rin ang Unmarry, na halos naka-PHP10M sa unang araw, at hindi ganoon kalaki ang ibinaba sa pangalawang araw. Nadagdagan din ang sinehan nito.
Nagtalu-talo ang Love You So Bad at Bar Boys: After School sa puwestong kasunod ng Unmarry.
Napag-alaman naming ang Love You So Bad ay nakahamig ng PHP5.5M at ang Bar Boys: After School ay PHP5.4M noong first day.
Pero sa pangalawang araw nito ay lumamang na si Bar Boys: After School, kaya nga, nadagdagan pa ito ng sinehan.
Samantala, nagkaroon din ng pagtatalo kung alin sa I’mPerfect at Manila’s Finest ang sumusunod sa unofficial ranking.
Napag-alaman naming lamang lang pala ang Manila’s Finest ng PHP50,000 sa I’mPerfect.
Kaya merong nagsasabing number 6 itong pelikula ng Nathan Studios.
Pero may kumokontra dahil ang Manila’s Finest daw ang lamang.
Nanatiling nasa panghuli talaga ang Rekonek, na ayon sa nakalap naming figures ay naka-PHP1.6M ito sa unang araw ng showing, at sa pangalawa ay PHP900,000.
Tingnan natin pagkatapos ng Gabi ng Parangal dahil tiyak na may mababago sa ranking depende sa dami ng awards na makukuha.
Sana, umangat pa ang total gross ngayong weekend. Kung naka-PHP98M sa unang araw, PHP55M na lang daw sa pangalawang araw ng showing ng walong pelikulang kalahok sa 51st Metro Manila Film Festival.

MMFF 2025 UNOFFICIAL RANKING FOR TWO DAYS
We cannot overemphasize na UNOFFICIAL ang inilabas nating resulta ng first day sa takilya ng MMFF 2025 entries.
Pero marami tayong kinakausap o sinasangguni na insiders.
Sa pa-Christmas party ni National Artist Ricky Lee noong Disyembre 26, Biyernes ng gabi, sa Shooting Gallery, Zapote St., Makati City, kachikahan namin ang ilang showbiz insiders at ang consensus, top grosser noong December 25 ang Call Me Mother with PHP49.6M.
Iyong Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins ay naka-PHP20.9M daw sa unang araw.
Pangatlo ang Unmarry nina Angelica Panganiban at Zanjoe Marudo.
Iyong nasa third, fourth, at fifth slots ay magkakadikit, more or less ay PHP100,000 lang ang difference.
Sa walong official entries ay puwede ninyong i-research kung alin-alin ang nadagdagan ng sinehan at kung alin-alin ang nabawasan.
At least, sa Power Plant Mall ng Rockwell Center, Makati City, mula noong Huwebes hanggang ngayong Sabado ay tig-iisa ng butas ang walong kalahok sa 51st MMFF.
Pero iyong Call Me Mother ang maagang nag-screening today. Meron itong 10:15 A.M., at anim lahat ang screenings nito sa Power Plant Mall.
Iyong Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins ay apat ang screenings dahil sa running time nitong 2 hours and 28 minutes.

Nakita ko nga ang mga kumalat na mga rankings at ingat na ingat tayo sa mga lumalabas na ganyan.
Tahasan kong sinasabing fake news kung hindi talaga totoo.
At dapat lang i-call out kasi need mag-ingat na baka mag-create ng nega na bandwagon effect.
Meron namang with matching photos pa—na nasabihan ko ng, “A photo like this is static. I wish there was more context so that we can learn from this, as there other inspiring MMFF stories, too. May this benefit the industry moving forward. Happy New Year!”
