In her interview last December 2018 in Tonight With Boy Abunda, Criza was asked about her greatest fear.

She answered, “Yung mawala si Mama [Wilma], ayun lang. All my life, ayun lang talaga, yung mawala siya. Ayun yung kinakatakot ko. Mawala na ang lahat, huwag lang [siya].

“Siya yung buhay ko, pag wala siya hindi ko alam kung ano yung buhay ko ngayon,” she explained.

Her Rise to Fame

When Criza joined Pinoy Big Brother in 2018, she passed the audition, but she was not selected as an official housemate during the Housemate Selection twist.

She entered the Big Brother House as a Star Dreamer from the Camp Star Hunt, a digital reality series that became the season's central twist.

Those who were unsuccessful in getting a spot in the house were sent to the camp, where they were given tasked.

TV Shows and Movies

Pinoy Big Brother: Otso (2018)

As a Star Dreamer, Criza successfully accomplished the first-week job, and generated the highest public votes—paving for her entry to Bahay Ni Kuya.

As a housemate, her being outspoken was misconstrued as being bossy—a trait that didn't sit well with fellow housemates, and got her into some conflicts and misunderstandings.

On her third week, and her second week as a nominee for eviction, she received the lowest amount of save votes against nominees Seth Fedelin and Aljon Mendoza.

The movie has themes that explore the concepts of privilege, love, and societal norms.

He's Into Her (2020)

Criza portrayed the character Zarnaih "Naih" Marchessa in the 2020 series He's Into Her.

The show, based on the novel of the same name by Maxinejiji (Maxine Lat Calibuso), revolves around the story of a probinsiyana, Maxpein (Belle Mariano), who moves to Manila to live with her wealthy father's family.
