Shuvee Etrata knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end of teasing and bullying.
On August 19, 2025, the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition alum showed that those insecurities can actually be turned into strengths.
During the media conference for In Her Femme Era: The Official Signing of Femme & Shuvee Etrata held at the Sanitary Care Products Asia (SCPA) Main Office in Taguig, Shuvee spoke candidly about her own struggles with self-image growing up.
Now officially the face of Femme, a sanitary care brand best known for its wide range of tissue products, she used her platform to encourage others to embrace who they are—flaws, quirks, and all.

Shuvee reminds everyone that the beauty standards change
When asked how she handles insecurities, Shuvee did not mince words.
In a mix of English and Filipino, she shared her journey with humor and sincerity.
“I’ve always dealt with insecurities growing up,” she revealed.
“However, with the younger generations there hearing me right now, I want you to know na your morena skin, your skin complexion doesn’t need a fixing.
“You don’t need to fix it. You just need to embrace it. Wag mong palitan.
She admitted that while her features were once a source of insecurity, the tables eventually turned.
Prioritize yourself.”
Shuvee's words, though laced with humor, resonated as a reminder that beauty standards change over time—and what matters most is loving oneself in the present.

Moving Into a New Chapter—Literally
For Shuvee, becoming the face of Femme marks another major milestone after her rise to fame through Pinoy Big Brother.
Known for her candid personality and down-to-earth charm, she fits naturally with Femme’s message of practicality and everyday comfort.
In line with being the face of a househld staple, the 24-year-old Sparkle artist is also gearing up to move into a new home with her best friend, actress Ashley Ortega.
When PEP asked about the move, she laughed as she admitted that the process is still a work in progress: “Supposed to be scheduled this month.
“Honestly, guys, I’ve always been honest, hindi pa talaga nagagawa ang mga kailangang gawin. Kasi, yung bahay na yun, bigger space for me and Ashley.
“If you don’t know, Ashley is my best friend who is also my co-housemate.
“So, of course, it’s kind of my dream house. It’s still in the process, but we’re gonna lipat and then it’s like a bigger house para may paglalagyan ang mga gamit.
“I actually outgrew the condo.”
According to her, the most important part of this transition is making sure her home is stocked with essentials—starting with tissue products.
She even teased that her new home might reflect Femme’s signature branding.
“Baka makita niyo yung bahay ko, color pink na lahat, oo,” she quipped, drawing another round of laughter.
