Wedding bells set off as showbiz couple Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon finally exchange their "I dos."
Their marriage on June 9, 2024, caught fans off guard, especially since no prenup photos or engagement announcements were made leading up to their special day.
But beyond the secrecy, their quiet union emerged as something that truly reflected them.

THE VENUE
Amid the hushed beauty of Silang, Cavite, stands Alta Veranda de Tibig, an events place with Spanish-Filipino architecture.
The venue boasts two indoor wedding locales.
El Pabelion De Jardin, with its celestial dome design, can accommodate up to 350 guests.
It was the perfect setting for Charlie and Carlo's union.
Event stylist Dave Sandoval was at the helm of revamping the already romantic space into a lovely pink and pastel garden.

Dave conveyed in an Instagram post that "a mirrored walk, symmetrical lines, and floral accents in the bride’s favorite color of blush pink and other pastels" served as the inspiration for the scene's majestic charm.
THE BRIDE
Charlie stunned in a fairytale-like dress custom-designed by Filipino couturier Steph Tan.
Adorned with intricate floral and leaf motifs, the ivory creation also featured a backless cut, adding a dash of boldness to the traditional bridal gown.
Charlie's bouquet was a mix of mainly gypsophila and roses, with pink peonies as complementary flowers, selected and assorted by event stylist and florist Dave Sandoval.
As for Charlie's face card, make-up artist to the stars, Marben Talanay, and hairstylist July Vito took the lead in dolling her up.
Marben enhanced the Kapamilya actress's features with soft-glam dewy make-up.
Then July styled Charlie's locks into a center-parted, chic low bun.
THE GROOM
Groomed in a side-swept mullet and a suit of style and sophistication, the groom was the vision of a bride's dreams.
His choice of attire—a striking hunter green suit meticulously crafted by renowned groomswear designer Paulo Lazaro—not only showcased Carlo's fashion-forward approach, but also tied into the overall theme of the occasion.
The deep, rich hue of the suit provided a perfect contrast to the crisp white pocket square in his breast pocket, elevating his look.
CELEBRITY GUESTS
PRINCIPAL AND SECONDARY SPONSORS
The wedding invitation sent out to guests showed that Kapamilya heavyweights were in attendance as principal sponsors.
Among them were ABS-CBN CEO and President Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operations Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Board of Directors member Charo Santos-Concio, and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi.
Veteran stars Vilma Santos-Recto and Maricel Soriano, who have both worked with the newlyweds, were also sponsors.
Completing the celebrity guest list of sponsors were Viva film producer Veronique del Rosario-Corpuz, TV director and film writer Olivia Lamasan, and businessman Art Atayde.
Charlie's castmates in Pira-Piraisong Paraiso were secondary sponsors.
Alexa Ilacad, Loisa Andalio, and Elisse Joson attended as the ceremonial cord presenter, candle bearer, and veil sponsor, respectively.
The four of them took on the characters of estranged granchildren to the character of Diamond Star Maricel Soriano in the crime series.

BRIDESMAIDS
In Charlie's entourage—dressed in blush pink gowns—were ladies she has worked with in various projects.
Her Maid of Honor, Sue Ramirez, was accompanied by other Star Magic artists Belle Mariano, Kaila Estrada, and Adrian Lindayag.
Charlie and Belle were sisters in the 2020 family dramedy Four Sisters Before the Wedding.
Kaila appeared with Charlie on Viral Scandal, which aired from 2021 to 2022.
GROOMSMEN
Two of Carlo’s groomsmen are actors.
Ketchup Eusebio, who walked down the aisle with Can’t Buy Me Love co-star Belle Mariano, has been a buddy to Carlo since they worked together as teens in the 2005 indie film Sa Aking Pagkakagising Mula Sa Kamulatan.
Carlo and Ketchup also appeared in the 2011 musical Rakenrol, which starred Ramon Bautista, who is also one of Carlo's celebrity groomsmen.
WEDDING VOWS
CARLO PROMISES A LIFETIME PARTNERSHIP
As he turned a new leaf as a married man, Carlo pledged lifelong loyalty and companionship in his wedding vow to Charlie.
"Salamat dahil pumayag ka maging Mrs. Aquino," he said, chuckling.
"Nagpapasalamat ako sa nasa itaas, dahil hindi niya ako binigo. Nagdasal ako ng kapayapaan, at iyan ang binigay niya sa pagkatao mo, mahal."
He added playfully: "Salamat, mahal, dahil simula sa araw na ito, binibigyan mo ako ng pahintulot na buwisitin ka sa araw-araw.
"Binibigyan mo ako ng pahintulot na marinig ang magarbong halakhak mo at mga kuwento.
"At higit sa lahat, binibigyan mo ako ng pagkakataon na piliin ka sa araw-araw."
He gave a serious assurance: "Hindi ko maipapangakong ngiti ang palaging madadala ko sa buhay mo.
"Ang maipapangako ko ay kapagka lublob na ang mga damdamin natin sa sama ng loob sa isa't isa, kapag may mga araw na hindi na pantay ang pagmamahal natin dalawa, hindi ko pa rin makakalimutan na mahalin ang pagkatao mo, pahalagahan ang pagkababae mo, at ingatan ang puso mo."
Carlo promised, "Simula sa araw na ito, hindi ka na mag-iisa. Palagi ka nang may kasangga.
"Nandito lang ako palagi sa likod mo o sa harapan mo, at bibigyan ka ng kumpiyansa."
CHARLIE HOLDS ON TO WHAT SHE MANIFESTED
Charlie reminisced about the early times when she found herself falling for the man she once only dreamed about.
"Carlo mahal, before kita na-meet, I was just enjoying my life, my career, and my friends," she began her vow.
"In a way, I kinda let go of the idea or concept na I'll be in a relationship or more so, be married.
"But, I'll also admit na sabi kasi effective ang manifestation. So, nagsulat ako ng ‘To My Dear Future Husband.’
"A year after, we had an opportunity to work together and dun kita mas nakilala.
"At that time, akala ko nakilala na kita nung Soldier's Heart. Nakita ko nun yung character na responsible ka kasi di ka namin nakakasama."
She recalled, laughing, "Kuyang-kuya ka sa lahat. At lagi ka lang naglalaba or nagwu-workout."
Then she confessed: "But, as I got to know you better, andami pa pala na you have a lot of good qualities na talagang aligned sa na-imagine kong gusto kong makasama sa buhay ko.
"Nakita ko yung goals mo, aligned sa goals ko."
Charlie added, "And yung pagiging family-oriented mo, kung paano mo kami alagaan and kung gaano ka ka-selfless when it comes to your loved ones.
"At lalo na kung paano ka sa family ko... Siguro, yun yung pinaka-sign sa akin na ikaw ay para sa akin."
