Singer and actress Geneva Cruz has added another milestone to her long list of achievements—this time, in the academic arena.
On March 13, 2026, the multi-platinum recording artist proudly announced on social media that she had finally completed her college degree which was a dream more than three decades in the making.
Sharing photos from her graduation day, Geneva reflected on the journey that led her back to school.
“As I approach my golden age in less than a month, I realize that some of my dreams are still coming true,” she wrote.
“Thirty-three years in the making, but I finally did it! Look, ma, I’m now a college graduate!!!”
Geneva added that the milestone held special meaning for her younger self.
“This is for nineteen-year-old Gen, who had to grow up fast and work hard after choosing to become a young mom,” she wrote.
“Thank you for being brave and for finally learning to love yourself.”
The singer also included the hashtag "#itsnevertoolate," along with "#BSOA," indicating she completed a degree in Bachelor of Science in Office Administration.
Her post quickly drew congratulatory messages from friends, family members, and fans who celebrated the long-awaited achievement.

A graduation decades in the making
Geneva first opened up about her decision to return to school in August 2024, when she announced that she was resuming her pursuit of a college degree.
Back in the early 1990s, Geneva studied AB General Literature at the University of Santo Tomas, but her path took a different direction when she became a young mother and began focusing on her career and family.
More than three decades later, she chose to revisit a dream she had once set aside.
Now 49 years old, Geneva achieved that goal just weeks before turning 50 on April 2, 2026.
The timing made the milestone even more meaningful, marking both a personal and symbolic new chapter in her life.

Alongside her announcement, Geneva published Instagram stories capturing the special day.
One portrait shows the singer wearing a navy-blue graduation toga while holding her cap and tassel, smiling confidently for the camera.
Another image reveals a throwback photo from her younger years, highlighting how long the dream of finishing her studies had been in the making.
In a separate Instagram Story, Geneva was seen standing outside the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), dressed in her graduation attire and holding her cap.
Another story showed a bouquet of flowers she received to celebrate the occasion.
The arrangement featured white roses, bright orange gerbera daisies, and delicate alstroemeria blooms.
Tagged in the photo is her partner, Dean Michael Roxas, who joined the many supporters congratulating Geneva on the achievement.
