FILIPINO CELEBRITY LAWYERS

Nico Antonio

Among the most recently licensed celebrity lawyers is character actor Nico Antonio, who passed the 2025 Bar Examinations held September 2025.

He completed his undergraduate degree in European Studies at Ateneo de Manila University and earned his law degree from San Beda College in 2013.

The 2025 Bar marked his first attempt, as he previously prioritized building his acting career.

Like his mother, film producer Atty. Joji Alonso, Nico is keen on carving a parallel path in law while continuing his work in entertainment.

His recent film projects include Balota and Lolo and the Kid in 2024.

In a fitting coincidence, he portrayed a lawyer in the MMFF 2025 film UnMarry and made a cameo appearance as a security guard in Bar Boys: After School, a film centered on law students and young lawyers.

His television credits include Mommy Dearest and Sins of the Father in 2025.

Luke Jickain

Former model-turned-actor Luke Jickain likewise passed the 2025 Bar Examinations on his first take.

He is one of 5,594 successful examinees out of 11,420 takers. The passing rate stood at 48.98 percent, with results released on January 7, 2026.

Luke, 41, completed his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2023 and finished his law studies at Arellano University School of Law in June 2025.

Despite his background in modeling and acting, Luke consistently emphasized academic focus throughout his legal journey.

Interestingly, Luke served as the real-life inspiration for the character Joshua Zuñiga, portrayed by Kean Cipriano in the 2017 film Bar Boys.

Nearly a decade later, he now shares the same professional title as the fictional lawyer he inspired.
